Was at work. My amazing wife left home with our 10 week old baby, drove 1:15 to get there and got a partial allotment and drove back home! I'm super happy with a partial considering it's just minus one gran met and I've heard that's so so. So excited!!!

I was lucky enough to have a mule get me a partial. His idea of good beer is Heineken, so it's all for me! While I may have made it on time, not driving 3 hours was a big positive. Wish I could have had GNVP though :-\

I seriously have no idea what you were trying to say or get at. Not being a smartass. I just have no idea.

I have no idea what's going on in this thread.

@dmolz - were you trying to say that gran met and manbearpig don't sound very appealing?

Glad I'm not the only one. I think he has brain damage.

The English comment: thought Mike was referencing Benicio Del Toro's character in Usual Suspect. Specifically the line up scene, where his character is mumbling and the cop asks him to repeat in English--you just have to see it. Pure gold. Found a link and a YouTube clip, but both are likely to be deleted.

No idea what the dude is saying about MBP and GM tho.

I had a bottle of AB Gran Met in '13 that was just amazing. Blew me away. The next one I had a few weeks later on the other hand...it was like drinking liquor. I am pumped it's back, though and am hoping for a bottle similar to the first one I opened.

Love the movie but it wasn't a conscious reference.

    AHA!!

In all fairness...to the casual reader, you really didn't say anything...you didn't say "ISO" at all. I see now that we were likely supposed to be able to figure out that you meant "in search friggin of"...but that was a stretch for folks not used to decoding fucking lazy cell phone posts.

To me there seemed to be a clear typo...and I took it to mean "it's fricking manbearpig and gran met...ugh"...inferring that they suck. Especially since there are a good number of people who haven't been fans of the gran met treatment in the past. I think my confusion really stemmed from the two being lumped together since manbearpig sounds like it could very well be the best beer ever (not trying to hype I swear...I genuinely feel that way).

I guess I need to just forevermore realize that every goddam post on this site is somehow referring to trading and maybe my brain will hurt less. Sucks, but is what it is.

I dated a speech pathologist. she understood it all and found it witty and charming. and again, was more kidding on the trade part. just figured separated by simply the word "frickin" would be easy. tough crowd lol. my buddy raves about voodoo stouts. plus, manbearpig. I'm sold at the name.

lmao, that's what you got out of that? your vernacular is no bueno. keep up with the insults though to make yourselves feel better you haven't mastered decently basic Internet slang. we're not on an english lit forum. it's beer. enjoy your miserable day!

Was just joking with you. Freals. No offense intended. I'm having a rather nice day. I'm sorry the Speech Therapist Lady broke up with you...but I'm starting to get a sense of why.
