Finally hit Beer 1,000!!!!

    thanks to an awesome bottle share with 105 bottles and 3 growlers I've finally made it to beer 1,000 highlight of the night was someone randomly pulling out a personal whale I had been wanting to try for a long time Westbrook Mexican Cake happy to be part of the 1,000 beer club its not a goal I had set to make it 1,000 different beers but still pretty cool to think back on how I got into craft beer and how my palate has changed from beer number 1 to beer 1,000.cheers to the next 1,000 :slight_smile:

    Congrats. 996 for me to go. Doesn't mean I only had 4 beers in my lifetime tho.

    Wow, I can not remember ever having seen someone with a higher negative rDev overall. Tickers gotta tick I guess. Congrats.

    1014 since I started to track on untapd. I would think if I tracked everything ever it's close to 5000. I was a ticker even back in the day. Some bad beers passed my lips. 20 years ago I logged over 100 beers in 10 days in Belgium and another 20 or so in a week in Austria. I have the list packed away someplace.

    I say I don't tick now but I do, just not as hard as I did before. I'm a sucker though and always think I'm buying the best beer in earth only to be let down 99% of the time.

    Heh, I was inspired as well. Ratings were redder than a matador's cape. Congrats, anyway, though.

    i do admit I am pretty picky when it comes to beer and my scores def do not fit the norm :wink:

    You sampled all 105+ in one night? I do not believe the human brain can comprehend the flavors of that many beers in that short a time. Either the pour size had to be so tiny that you had 1 sip of each or you were wasted before beer #30.

    Also, based on your ratings it doesn't look like you really enjoy beer. I am so confused.
