    You're having a get-together. All your invitees drink craft beer, so there's no problem with someone making a face when tasting a beer. You have a limited budget, and you want to have different styles, so you can only afford one of each style. What IPA do you buy that will satisfy those who like a lightly hopped beer as well as dedicated hopheads and everyone in between?

    Excellent beer but I don't think it's available in SC, unfortunately.

    On the lightly hopped end I'd say Dale's Pale Ale. As for suggestions on the highly hopped side, I'll go make popcorn and anticipate current events.

    Notice I didn't mention Loose Cannon..

    This IPA can do no wrong. If you're in a limited budget it's the best choice you can make. Two Hearted is a damn good choice as well, IMHO... but we have no easy access to it in Texas.

    Probably Columbus IPA. A bit more balanced(more malt) than Head Hunter or White Rajah. And at 8.99/sixer, it is cheaper than most other options.

    Good point, I hadn't noticed. I was mentioning it in general though. I'd love to be able to get it all the time but I can't. I'm still very happy getting 2-3 bottles a year :grinning:

    (I like/unliked (sorry), meant to respond.) Yeah, I'm totally with you, too bad it's not available in SC (or Canada). I luckily can get the stuff but lately haven't found it very fresh unless it's on tap. As a side note, 'was in Toronto a few weeks and brought back some Muskova Mad Tom IPA. Have you had this one and what do you think? (Send a beer mail if you want, I don't want to sidetrack things in this thread.) Prost!:slight_smile:
