Fat Heads Hop JuJu. Such a treat when available and in my opinion a steal at $12.99 a four pack. Heading to Fat Heads today to grab a growler of citrus infused Headhunter. Going to be a great day.

    Cheers everyone!

Good morning BA, have a great Sunday!

My go-to English styled Porter. Big robust and complex flavors of milk chocolate, cocoa, light coffee, caramel, toffee, toast, brown sugar, brown bread, and light nuttiness; with restrained plum/apple English yeast fruitiness and light-moderate herbal hops. Balanced herbal/roast bitter finish with a great creamy/silky mouthfeel. An all around incredible beer every single time. I love pretty much the entire Deschutes lineup of year round and seasonals.

Outstanding IPA. Big bright flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange rind, light pepper, and pine hop/fruit notes; with some light caramel/toasted bready malt and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Good sized pine/rind/spicy bitterness; with a dry and sticky mouthfeel with a touch of grainy creaminess. Lasting hop and citrus oils on the finish; with no bitter astringency. Glad this is year round, almost finished this 6 pack.

Excellent Belgian IPA! Flavors of bright grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, and pine hops; with balanced banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, and clove yeast notes. Some light cracker/biscuity malt; with herbal/floral/grassy hop and yeast earthiness. Nice crisp and dry finish; moderate sticky/resinous mouthfeel with no hop astringency. I really need to go find a 6 pack of this. So delicious.

Really good stuff as expected! Big flavors of juicy mango, peach, apricot, pear, pineapple, honey, bread, and herbal/earthy habenero peppers. Light-moderate pepper spice on the finish that builds through the glass along with the heat; but neither becomes too overwhelming. Full-ish bodied with a slick and lightly syrupy mouthfeel as expected; zero cloying sweetness. Glad I bought more than one, might grab one or two more too. This is pretty much identical to how I remember my initial review. Nothing mind blowing, but delivers exactly what you would expect in the flavors. Very well balanced between fruit and malt sweetness; habenero being light at first, but building up through the glass; and balancing the sweetness. I always love pepper beers.

    Cheers, have a great day.

A contractor is coming by today to give me an estimate for redoing the patio.
I probably should be drinking something stronger than this.

Happy Sunday morning, BA's.....it was a fun "vinyl day" yesterday, enjoyed seeing all that vinyl and stereo systems out there! Thanks again to @PatrickCT and @TongoRad and crew for putting that on Saturday, fun times!

Am psyched that I am taking a friend to see some waterfalls in the Cuyahoga Valley Nat'l Park this afternoon, should be nice! Forecast is for mid-40's and sunny, then in the 60's all this week coming up....cool beans!!

In the meantime, some dark roastiness to go with my breakfast of fresh blueberry pancakes and organic yogurt...yum!

Nothing my taste buds love more than having hops stomp up and down on them at 645 in the morning.

Excited about the corn beef and cabbage dinner at our church tonight, mostly because Solemn Oath is providing the beer. Would it be wrong to bring my glass from them with me?
Anyway, in honor of tonight, here's something from my favorite Irish band.
    No, not those guys.

Haven't been on in forever, but I felt I had to because of what I'm drinking and the list of the place I'm at. At a new bar in Copenhagen owned by the guy who owns Evil Twin. Got a 375 of 2015 Blabaer for $23. Their list is full of Cantillon, but a ton of other rare American stuff as well, and price are incredibly reasonable. Pretty crazy.
