I was able to secure 2 bottles of GNVP, and this sweet elixir is my favorite beer I have ever experienced. I want to trade for something worthwhile for 1 of them and am curious as to what I will be able to get some bites on.....morning delight, good morning, ba abraxis double barrel hunaphu??? i have had hunaphu multiple times and think gnvp is better for sure, but have heard great things about the double barrel! all others are so high up in trade bait i was wondering if anyone would contemplate? opinions traders......

 

How apropos for there to be Pizza Boy anger on #300. Poetic justice. Too bad there's not enough posts left for all the other anger in the previous 299.

 

My opinion is if you've got 2 of a bottle, you drink one and it's your "favorite beer you've ever experienced", drink the other one.

 

Why did you delete your auction on that selling site? Somebody calls you out and you delete your post and act like nothing is wrong?!? Thanks for letting me know what kind of dude you are. Another name to add to my do not trade list.

 

i forgot to mention that i traded some cigar city sardo numspa for a buddys 2nd bottle that will be chilling tonight! so 1 for the cellar and 1 to trade if i can get something worthy of seperation anxiety of my favorite 22oz bottle ever!

 

Ok since I'm being put on blast for whatever reason, I'll explain everything in my thought process to you even though I don't need to. I had been communicating with someone through Facebook who has a pappy black magick. I think he's either a regular or someone who maybe works at voodoo. He wanted a couple of big loons for it, we talked a bit and he narrowed it down to which ones he wanted. I was going to try and trade the set for those loons then do an ip trade on the release day fo the pappy magick. It's one of my biggest wants, I know there's very few out there and I was hoping to nab something special for my 30th birthday coming up this June. I figured it may be easier to just sell some of the set (like many people do obviously) then buy the looms (2 vintage fou founes, lpg, and a framboos). The value didn't really match up for what the secondary market price was for the black magick, but I considered it hard because of how few there are left in the wild. Ultimately, I figured the hastle of selling a few beers, buying multiple loons from different people, then hauling it up to voodoo just wasn't worth it and I'm happy enough to just have some of the beers from the set. Then I saw people almost stalking me from beer advocate to the other page for whatever reason and realized it REALLY wasn't worth the hassle and headache. Hope this gives you some understanding into my life and thought process. No ill-intentions really. Just trying to land a huge beer for my 30th birthday that I was probably getting ripped on anyways. I trade plenty on these sites, have hooked others up well and built good trade relationships over the years. Some people seem to love to jump right into attack mode, that's fine. I came here to originally tall about the new release because I was excited for it, some people get easilt on the defense though. Sorry for offending anyone. Enjoy your Sunday and cheers!

It is in my humble opinion that discussing topics such as "maximizing trade values" should be done either by 1) Private Messages to whoever cares or 2) Posting an actual ISO:FT offer and seeing if it gets done. The public discussion of seeing how many whalezbro you can get for your bottles is extremely off-putting.

But that's just, like, my opinion.

 

Anyway... anyone start a list for gratitude day? Who is all going and planning to share?

Peters is at least as snoody as USC. And you guys have sidewalks, spoiled.

Just said there ID-flight-sampler-tipping policy is hellish. Didn't even mention their diffident staff and bad pizza. Not angry; I'm having a nice day.

I reside in Canonsburg, so if dogleg, barfly or any of you other locals ever want to get together sometime. We could hang out and have a beer share in giant eagles parking lot.

 

Sounds like a plan. About five minutes from GEMDX, and there are one or two others as well. Sharing some bottles sometime soon sounds good.

Pfft. No sidewalks in my hood. Actually like not having sidewalks, always hated having to mow and edge the little patch of grass between the street and sidewalk.

 

I have a vacant rental house in Canonsburg we could do a bottle share at. Also know a cigar shop owner who is cool enough to let such an epic event occur (Canonsburg as well).
