I keep trying but I think I'm done. Every sour beer tastes, well, sour. I never taste any of the additives so proudly displayed on the label. I always check BA to make sure I'm buying a sour that others have enjoyed. I've tried sours from Crooked Stave, Wicked Weed, Anchorage, Upland and others. My taste buds clearly struggle with this type of beer. What about you?

I should add that I'm not against tartness. I've enjoyed plenty of wild ales, saisons and fruit beers that had some tartness to them. But usually there was more going on flavor-wise. All I get from most sours is sour.

All those breweries you mentioned definitely know how to make a great sour! Sounds like you gave it one hell of a try.

Not for me, actually considering the price point on most, I'm glad I don't care for them.

I voted "I like some sours". For the first couple I tried, I enjoyed the taste but they gave me pretty bad stomach aches. I backed off for a while but then started having a new one every 2-3 weeks. I noticed the stomach aches went away and I was starting to enjoy the flavors even more. At this point, I can't say I love them but I am acquiring a taste for them, and will continue to try new ones on occasion. Perhaps you're trying too many, too quickly. If that's the case, taking a slower approach might work for you too.

I dislike them, yet I rate them accordingly. In other words, although I'd rather drink pickle juice, I still give favorable reviews if a sour deserves it. It's called being objective, but it's one of the last styles on my list next to malt liquor.

I like some. I think I've only tried maybe 7 or so. Some I loved, others I couldn't finish. I see the appeal though.

I'm a big fan, but I'll take a brett-forward sour over a super tart fruited sour.

I love them, But I can't stand sweetness, sugar tastes like poison to me (Probably one of the reasons I've never had a cavity too)

A poor excuse for old, outdated, unclean beer fermentation. Some are subtle, others off the charts with sour, teeth chattering tartness.

Haven't had all that many sours. The ones I've had I didn't care for. They were well done but I couldn't jet past the real strong sour notes. Probably have to try again when it's warmer, when lemonade is a good choice.

I like most sours. The only sub-style within that I don't usually care for is the Flanders Red, but \even there there are some great ones.
It did take me a long time to get into them, even after tasting quite a few over the years. It took an under the table bottle at one of the b\big beer fests to swing me over the fence. I don't buy them very often, and I usually save them for a special occasion when I do, but Geuzes, Kreiks, Lambics, Love them.

I like them, but they are not a style I buy too many bottles of. If there is a local brewery that has them on tap, I will often order sours though.

I find myself not buying them as often as other styles, but whenever I get one I tend to enjoy it a lot. I said "love sours".

Put like some, but I'd say I like most. Depends on the sour. A good Gose and I am a very happy man. I dig a nice Flanders Red. Harsh Lambics are hard to love, though there is quite a bit of range in what you get. Top makers deserve the respect they get, but I do find my beer dollar going elsewhere, since these tend to be quite expensive.
