    # 3 22nd Anniversary Karl Strauss! I think its a stout but awesome as well!
    # 4 Stone Vanilla Porter
    You're welcome!

Black Butte depends on the release. No vanilla the last two releases from what I remember.

I second a lot of those already mentioned (especially Ballast Point and Stone)... so here are a couple of alternates.

    1) Tanilla Porter - Knee Deep Brewing
    2) Peak XV Imperial Porter - Black Diamond

Tanilla is really not good. ST Creme Brûlée is better, and that's not saying anything.

Yeah, silly me, I've had both the XXIII and XXIV and they are: XXVI Chocolate nibs, dates and figs and XXIII: Psilla Peppers, and Seville Oranges. Sorry, awesome porters none-the-less!!!

As others have said, Ballast Point Victory at Sea is phenomenal. Just be sure to drink it fresh.

It's not a porter, but SouthernTier Creme Brulee has a ton of vanilla flavor to it.

If you're ever in Alabama, Avondale's Vanillaphant Porter is one of my favorites. I had Atwater's Vanilla Java Porter a couple nights ago and was not terribly impressed.

And for the record, I love vanilla porters, but I cannot drink ST Creme Brulee. Yeah, there's vanilla, but it's so foully sweet that it's really overpowering. Porters are rarely all that sweet, but beer should not be as sweet as Creme Brulee. Ugh. It's worth a try for the experience, but after two sips I was done. I've never been so turned off by a beer before.

Personal taste and all, but I found imperial tanilla to be totally underwhelming.

Trade for the one from Dry Dock. They don't get any better than that one. They're in the process of building a new bottling/canning facility so it should be all over the place in a year or two.

Yeah, I had it fresh this past January and it was the best porter I've had, had it a few months later and the vanilla had faded substantially!

I'll 2nd the Stone and the Breckenridge. Vanillphant isn't bad, but not a fan of ST Creme Brûlée at all.

I know it's a stout, but Mean Old Tom from Maine Beer Company was the tits! Aged directly on vanilla beans with great balance and creaminess. Trade for some if you can, it's the best beer with vanilla I've had.

Mean Old Tom is fantastic, and not hard to trade for. Vanilla Dark Lord is better, but then...
