Rushing Duck (2018)

I have yet to find a place in New York that will not fill any growler, provided it fits on their system. RD is no exception.

 

They filled my Miir growlers without a problem.

 

Thanks guys, just wanted to make sure before heading over. I may be hooking up with some VT folk and thought it would be cool to bring something local with me.

 

Show those Vermonters what some good beer is.
Hopefully they are bringing you some locals as well

 

Oh yeah, there's definitely a good reciprocal thing going- if anything, I'm the one in arrears. Rushing Duck seems like the perfect choice this time around, so I hope it all works out.

 

I'm sure you'll all love it. Rushing Duck is one place where there are several beers that I want to fill up my growlers with so take a few.

 

Yeah- it'll be nice to try some stuff that hasn't made it down to Cable yet.

 

New cans release this Thursday

Curious how long do these cans at the releases usually last? Im working 4 days a week an hour from the brewery. Will be heading back down that way Friday morning, but wouldn't be able to make it to the brewery until Saturday afternoon.

 

Last month DBZ was out by early Friday
War Elephant was out Friday Afternoon or Saturday morning

I also suggest bringing some growlers to take home Pay to Play and Bean Head Coffee Porter which are stellar

 

The DBZ was a smaller than normal canning run. This time may be different, I don't know. And the War Elephant was out on Friday afternoon. So lasting till Saturday would be a stretch.

I picked up War Elephant on Saturday at the last release, seemed to be a decent amount left.

Just stopped in for my case of dbz...was starting to get a little crowded but it's a pretty small taproom. Only was like a 5 minute wait though. Kudos again to crew from RD!

 

I got here at 4:20, no line. Steady with people, but not crowded at all.

I hope a few cans last until saturday...I'd love to be drinking rushing duck at the shamrock run

 

The pace I'm seeing you may be in luck, but tomorrow is another day.....
