Wow, fuck that guy.

 

Besides Mr. K's it's getting harder and harder to find independent stores worth supporting. After watching so many local LB shops mark up BCBS like crazy, this crap, and my local shop in south county holding back on friggin Pineapple Sculpin it's hard to bother anymore.

This seems to be pretty common with seasonal releases. Sierra Nevada's distributor used to hang on to Celebration until the accounts went through as much or all of Tumbler as possible.

 

Wonder who you talked to, was able to pick some up last week no problem.

 

It was on Wed night.. the guy was working stocking the beer display and chatting beer with his coworker. It was my first time in the store.

 

Thats never happened to me. Wonder if the main guy was out, whenever he is off, I find it hard getting answers.

 

As a regular patron of Lazy Acres I'm pretty surprised you were told that. That being said, I was also surprised to still see City of the Sun on the shelf just as a matter of principle

I'm in Temecula... haven't been because I'm not a fan... but all I've heard is that the service is terrible... I was told the long wait was because the staff is so terrible and they don't care at all. Just what I've heard though...

 

Yeah... had it this past weekend along side King Sue and Citra... and it definitely wasn't last...

If you're gonna do "drinking chocolate" you have to go for some of that high quality stuff like Ghirardelli or better.

 

2 weeks out and there are already pre-trades.
