This is a style I am really falling in love with, but seem to rarely see locally.

Coppersmiths had a delicious one on the other day called 'Biggie's Baltic Porter', that I would highly recommend.

Are there any others here in CO (or regionally) that I should be seeking out???!?

I'm really looking for the non-smoked, non-funked varieties...

Dry Dock has one on right now.

BP's have a pretty big range of flavors because they can be both lagers or ales. Lager versions are almost like a schwarz-doppelbock. Ale versions you'd be hard pressed to differentiate from many imperial stouts.

Craft Beer Cellar in Fort Collins should have Kannah Creeks Imperial Baltic Porter still. Beer was great!

You're in Fort Collins? Let's grab a brew sometime. You've probably seen me around....well, not at Coopersmiths.

Left Hand Fade To Black Vol. 2 (Smoked, but still a Baltic), Beryl's Riga (actually pretty nice), Beryl Riga Dom (Riga in Brandy barrels), Fiction Zembla, Call to Arms - Beer Drinks You, Crabtree Gravedigger.

Obviously these aren't all available all the time, but they pop up now and again.

Gravity has a raspberry-chocolate Baltic porter; I believe it's still on. I thought it was pretty good.

Trinity's Chilly Water is bourbon barrel aged and solid IMO.

Just remembered I had a Baltic Porter from Grist a few months ago.

Can't say I really liked many of their beers, but their version of this style was spot on and thoroughly enjoyed!

Trve makes a porter called Dunwich which, despite being a bit lower in ABV than a traditional Baltic porter, I felt drank a lot like a Baltic. Very flavorful and one of my favorite beers I've had from them.

One of these days I'm going to have to pin down exactly where a top fermenting Baltic Porter ends and an Imperial Stout begins. I think it's just semantics in most cases.

Doesn't it have to do with fermenting at a lower temperature for a longer amount of time?
