    I'd never had this one until last week and I don't know why I waited this long because it's phenomenal. Definitely prefer it to BCBS.

    Damn this is going down smooth. The bourbon packs a punch. Chocolate, oak, molasses, caramel, roasted malts all come out too. Really superb effort from Rev!

    I got my GI refund check, so decided to crack open one of my 3 remaining BCBBW...drain pour. Not to be deterred for BA Friday, I opened up a Lagunitas High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout - I've liked this in the past, but I think I held on to this one too long.

    I then decided to go for one more with a Dark Horse BourbRum Plead the 5th. I had never had this before...not quite my style. I think the rum flavor takes over a bit much and not really what I'm looking for.

    BA Fridays are fun.

    Stopped by a local taphouse for dinner tonight and they happened to have BA Abominable on tap, so I got to participate in this even though I didn't expect to. I'm going to a BA beer fest tomorrow, so it's too bad this isn't Barrel Aged Saturday.

    Just finished a Bruery White Chocolate. My girlfriend always thinks Bruery barrel aged beers are too sweet so more often than not I drink them to the dome and this was one of those nights.
