the more i drink and think about this beer, the more i like it. i just posted my review, and had to cut it down because i'd written more than the allowed characters ._.

this isn't because i just write too much, it's because they got a ton of different flavors out of those nelson sauvin hops... there was even more to say, like how the mild heat and neutral malt backbone combine with the punchy, herbal / citrus / pungent flavor to keep every sip exciting and make the beer insanely drinkable. i also could have done more grocery list bullshit about the flavors they pulled out of the ingredients.

honestly, i think NEBCO is right there with hill farmstead in terms of hop wizardry. wish they made more beers like fuzzy baby ducks and coriolis.

Was there yesterday, and since they put it on the other day, they have kicked 6 kegs of Coriolis. Rob said its their fastest selling beer ever.

makes sense after fuzzy baby ducks. also, coriolis is amazing. as with fuzzy baby ducks, i'm tempted to make the inconvenient trek to new haven and reload on it.

Got two growlers on Friday night. Superior beer. I only had one pint of FBD but I think I like Corilios better. The hop nose is INCREDIBLE on this beer.

They still had it as of closing on Monday, no idea whether or not it lasted today. I think they were down to their penultimate half-barrel.

On the plus side, this was a 30-bbl batch, and they only kept the same amount for growlers as they did of the 15-bbl Fuzzy Baby Ducks. That means it should be significantly easier to find Coriolis on tap at the usual spots over the next couple weeks.

should be good for longer too, in my opinion.

i know the following sentence makes some BAs inexplicably RAGE, but the beer won't have its 1st week hop pungency board-to-the-face-ness forever. however, i think given the way the flavors work in the beer, it's going to be amazing for at least a few months (the hop flavors are so numerous and so good, how bad could it get without being a year old or something?).

p.s. on the subject of freshness, i think < week from release NEBCO gold stock is a top 10 (probably top 5, and maybe even top 3 if i'm actually ingesting it when i do the rating) all time beer for me, while month old gold stock is something i won't order in bars anymore because it's like a shadow, and not very good even relative to non-world class beers (like itself, fresh).

Last Saturday it was Coriolis and 668 Beast.

Worst case is you will end up with Sea Hag. And that is the best worst case of all time.

So if by some chance I can convince my wife to take a ride up there there's a good chance it'll be available still? I missed FBDs by 20 mins. :-(

Its kinda iffy really,I was there last saturday and rob the owner told me they were on the 7th of 10 kegs
    set aside for growlers.
I'd call the brewery and ask if you want to try and get a growler at this time. There is a solid amount though just starting to hit the local beer bars if you want to grab a few glasses.

    Cheers

I think it just may be the end soon.I called the brewery about an hour ago and was told after the keg that is on now, there is another being saved for final friday. This came out of the mouth of someone helping out at the brewery, not rob or matt so take it for what its worth.

    Cheers

Should be 11 - 3, doubt Coriolis will make it though. Grab some Sea Hag!

They just posted on Facebook that Coriolis will be available today, but they're definitely down to the last keg or two. Could kick at any time.
