    Hey All

Will be possibly relocating the the Short Hills/Summit area, and trying to figure out how the beer scene looks around there? I know The Office is over in Summit...what other good bars/beer stores are in the area??

    Thanks!

There is not really a lot. The Office and The Hat Tavern is Summit are both good. The Sterling Hotel in Sterling is a excellent craft beer bar by any standard . It's a 10 min. drive from Summit. IMO the Trap Rock Brewery Restaurant in Berkeley Heights makes excellent beer. Delicious Heights in the same town is ok for craft. There is a small bar in Chatham that has about 7 craft taps but they don't change the beers often. As far as retail goes the best store is the Buy Rite also in Chatham.

What you should do is go to places on this site. Hit on NJ and look at these near by towns. Springfield, Union, Livingston, Chatham, Mountainside, Warren, Madison and Morristown.
Also you will be about 1/2 hour away from The Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell a excellent beer bar. The Cricket Hill and Magnify Brewery's in Fairfield are 1/2 hour away as is Climax in Roselle.
