Other Half is usually pretty good with updating remaining case counts on can release days through their Twitter. Considering that they haven't updated their Twitter all day, I'd say your odds of scoring some cans are pretty good.

What a smooth release...definitely reminiscent of those early OH can releases. Plenty of cans left when I got there around 115. Beautiful day out too....and this year's Mosaic is tasting really good although not quite as good as last year's. Don't sleep on Get Wheated!

Really digging get wheated a lot... quick question any good sports bars in brooklyn? want to catch the OKC/Spurs game tonight. when I watched the Lakers/Cavs game on Thursday I had to settle for Keg and Lantern which was just OK. If there are better options in the city I don't mind jumping on a train either

Saw a guy at OH wearing a Make America Great Again hat and he said it wasn't a joke. On the upside, there were plenty of cans and, even better, Make It Rain on draft. And the next release will include a DIPA version of Citra!

In Brooklyn - try Brooklyn Tap House in Bed-Stuy or Croxleys Ale in Williamsburg. Tons of TVs at both places and big tap lists. Perhaps Banter in Williamsburg as well.

Unfortunately I'm gonna be out of town for the next release. If it's All Citra Everything it's going to bring a major crowd, so it might not be a horrible one to miss. The nice part about being a local is being able to get all these releases on tap even if you miss the cans.

Says the guy who hails from New Jersey and drinks in the line.

Do you really think it is acceptable for the whalezcrew from Essex New Jersey to setup shop in front of Other Half on the public streets of NYC at 7am and conduct an illegal bottle share? Other Half is selling beer, not conducting a block party.

And yes this does impact other people. When the local community board or residents start complaining, this is all going to come to a halt. See Alchemist for what can happen when residents complain.

And it does impact the people who just want to go and buy beer and not act like self-entitled asshole beer geeks. For every person who waits in that line, I guarantee you there are just as many who have given up on can releases because they don't want to deal with the "whalezcrew", line-cutters, task rabbits, mules, beer stores illegally selling Other Half beer and the people who drink illegally, litter and have no respect whatsover for the neighborhood and people who just want to buy beer. So this does impact people.

I can guarantee you the people who act like assholes at these can releases will be drop Other Half like a hot potato as soon as the next hot brewery opens up. They could give a shit about the neighborhood, other patrons or Other Half employees.

Post your address here, I have a local "whalezcrew" looking for a place to conduct a 8am bottle share. We can setup shop in front of your place, make lots of noise, leave litter all over your front yard and play bumper cars with the local cars and people as we drive drunk out of your neighborhood.

Beer people are awesome, have had so many awesome experiences, but beer people suck also. This attitude that people can show up at OH and do whatever the fuck they want is ridiculous.

No wonder why this thread is always the longest every month. 90% bitching and 10% beer. Hoping to stop in tomorrow to try the collaboration. Sounds good

Showed up at 1 pm and was able to walk right up and get my cans and was able to grab a seat in the taproom while I drank a mosaic ( which tasted way different then batch 1&2 and looked clear as day, overly centrifuged?) and Galaxy which on draft is drinking smooth juicy and mellowed out! If the cans are anything like on draft I recommend to drink them now!

Over all I loved that this release reminded me of the earlier releases.

I remember the first green diamonds release at beer week and arrived at 7 pm and still was able to grab cans while I hanged in the taproom all night. Wish it would be like this more often.
