Came up with a really good hint for my target while listening to some Vaughn Williams (no, that is not part of the hint), but will share it tomorrow rather than tonight. After an evening spent listening to music, eating a dinner of Hungarian(ish) grilled pork chops and drinking a mild red wine (!) I'm retiring to bed with a book. Tomorrow I have to go buy some packing materials I don't currently have. While I plan to use it on my target, some of it will be used sooner, and that should be shipping tomorrow.

 

Another one off my maybe list. Not only did Clemens work for a while in Philly, but the riverboat he was employed on was called Pennsylvania.

 

I think a majority should have been eliminated from my hints below, who still thinks they are in the running? I'll start to cater my hints to pick a few more of you off.

Hint # I think 7 or 8 or 9 maybe…
The U.S's largest Lego tower was built in my target's city, standing 11 stories tall and made of more than 500,000 bricks. It was the largest in the world until those punk kids in Italy built a taller lego tower.

 

And then there were five.

 

My target lives in or near one of the 25 largest cities in the United States.

 

My target will be getting brews from at least 4 different states...and it might be more if I keep adding on to the box...I think I might need a larger box...yes, I indeed need a larger box.

 

Can I get some hints from people I haven't already ruled out please?

 

I've had a beer that was casked with bacon. Not sure about a randall though.

Haul Hint must be #6 if that's what we're going for: My dog has not been out of the country. That precludes her from being synonymous with this beer.

I haven't ruled you out. But your hints are as indecipherable as @Ozzylizard 's, and of course, you two are two of the four still in the running for me.
