I know of a brewery adding woodruff syrup to their berliner as their green beer.

If Tree House Green counts, then I'm in.

Tried it once. It was still Miller Lite. I made it at home the next day. Blue food coloring is all it took.

I do have some TH green, and there's a pretty good chance I'll pop one. So that's probably the closest I'll get.

Some things from college - no matter how awesome or how much wonderful nostalgia they incite - should stay in college...

With that said, if one showed up in my hand, I'd drink it.

Cigar City and a cucumber and mint brew from R & B brewing in Canada.....think there have been cream ales and standard ales made with the malleable veggie....doubt they are that green, but then again.....toss in some food coloring and viola!

    Cheers

Funny story... I worked in a brewpub and the owner wanted me to make green beer for St. Patrick's Day, a whole tank of it, 40 kegs!! That's a lot of green beer!!! I suggested we do just a few kegs, which didn't go over well with him. I was told to make 12, and to "be ready to come in over the weekend and make more whenever needed"... I made 4 knowing we'd never sell even that much, and later that week we still had 3 1/2 kegs left! What happened next is even WORSE - he had me add red food color until it turned "amber" and we sold it as a Yuengling knock-off. Ha!!!!

My first date with my soon to be wife was St. Patrick's 3/17/81. We both had a green Michelob. We were married 6/11/81, 35 years this June. I didn't give a damn about the beer!

    Won't be drinking green beer.

I think my Irish-American, rather blue collar family would disown me, honestly

Yes it does. I won't drink that stuff, haven't drunk it since my early 20's.

He's wrong, you use green food coloring on light lagers.

Wine Club falls on the 17th this month, so no. Even if it didn't, still no.

I drank a LOT of green beer in Chicago for St. Patty's Day in my, well, day and never once did it turn my piss green.

I'd recommend Peppermint Victory at Sea. Not because it tastes good or looks green, but that shit sure as hell tastes like the color green.

I load up on Guinness, get a bottle of Jameson's, a dozen oysters, roast a corned beef with cabbage and potatoes, light up an Uphmann, and stay home with my wife. Mass slurred singing of Puff the Magic Dragon off-key and having my favorite places filled with people I have never seen before has me very comfortable staying home.
