It sounds like the two biggest influences on my target's early beer drinking self involved music and science, as it were. A large urban area in my target's state shares a name with something to do with one of these two influences.

So, when is the estimated time of impact - today or tomorrow?

 

The trusty tracker shows the box left Chicago at 4:03am and should hit my target by the end of the day tomorrow. While there is no green beer in the box, there are several with green labels!

By my calculations, I should have eliminated all but 3 of you in your own little corner of the country. This list below takes care of one more, and the other sent me my target.

I can at least take solace in the fact that you were indeed one of my final three contestants. I had it down to yourself, @cjgiant and @SammyJaxxxx.

It was around the basement clue that I really started to tune my radar in your direction as the preceding hints seemed broad enough. It's funny that Bender Gets Made was the episode 17 clue, as I actually went and checked the Futurama episode lists to see which episode #17 was and somehow totally missed the connection to my avatar, ha. I was too caught up trying to link things to my location. And Futurama was the show I used as reference when giving my flippant response to said clue in the first place (I think I referenced the one where Zapp Brannigan gets court martialed because it was on my mind recently).
I even spent a good amount of time yesterday researching my entire wants list to see if I had any Ohio breweries on there. I think Zaftig is the only one that I have listed that you don't have anything rated from?

The houseboats one went over my head though, admittedly. I got stuck on the idea of stilt houses... whatever they're called. The ones built up on poles. And as a result, I learned that Florida has the highest rate of stilt houses in the country! So I thought maybe you had @JDAWG71 for a slow moment (before reailzing the geographical clues would preclude that from being true).


Anyway that's just all a long winded way of saying: bravo, and a preemptive thank you. Masterfully done, and I am really really excited for what is about to happen to my taste buds and belly.

Spoiler alert. My target will receive a brew from HF that was added to BA yesterday and has 0 hads. (unless of course it sells out within an hour of opening).

 

Additional spoiler, I just realized I have 0 beers from NH ready for my target. I live on VT border and all the shops/breweries I go to are in VT. I will rectify that situation and add some Granite State goodness.

 

Target Cluedo #12: My target must be fairly frightened, as they have recently encountered several paranormal agents. Ghosts and witches are no suitable company for an emperor!

Haha. I wondered if you were just being a smart ass or actually referencing a Futurama episode. I was going to agree since I figured you were locked in at that point. Who doesn't love some Zap, or Troy McClure?
Zaftig was the brewery. I found those when I made a quick side trip to Columbus for a howler fill that didn't quite go as expected (will explain later). I will shoot you tracking info this afternoon.
