That's a good idea for an extra. Free roll of packing tape and a package of fresh bubble wrap!

Just shoot 'em a message. Kids these days probably can't read cursive anyway.:flushed:

With 220oz of midwest beer goodness soon to be hurtling towards me, I strongly suspect my candidate of choice will be @Ri0.

The ability to gratuitously waste tape is one of my few god-given abilities.

Time for a new recap of my hints:

    1. Starting from a deliberately vague and obtuse standpoint, I can confirm my target resides on Earth and would seem to work there too.

    2. In beer hint news, the state my target is in is older than the state I live in.

    3. In light of earlier hockey talk, my newest hint is that someone who played in the NHL in my target's state once played for the minor league team in my hometown. That player is not a Canadian

    4. My target lives in a state that is well to the east of me, but well to the west of others.

    5. The USN does not currently have (but in the past has had) a warship in service named for my target’s state (per wikipedia, anyway).

    6. A longtime item (perhaps a toy, game, article of clothing, something to sleep with) popular with children is named for a famous person from my target's state.

    7. My target's town is not well known, but it is near a place with a reputation for being a real institution.

    8. The institutional setting noted above provided a nickname for a movie character, played by an actor that is no longer with us. This actor was born in a neighborhood in the nearest (to my target) metropolis that once was peopled by eastern Europeans, but more recently considered a Puerto Rican neighborhood.

    9. [Hint #13: My target was not one of the 9 people that "liked" my last hint post.] Your most recent hint could serve me equally well.

    10. My target shares a state with someone else's target. Both have looked at this thread this morning (it's no longer morning where they are).
    AND
    11. There is a place near my target that is named for what I think is his employer. It's wet (at least the eastern portion).

I think we can all agree that the first box to arrive is the best box.

...and the jockeying for position among senders begins.

Well, I can say that it won't be a box from any of the Washington senders. After all, there's no rare beer in Washington.

Most unique packing materials, how ridiculously early it was sent, whatever...

Just wanted to say my GF said I had a delivery waiting at home. I'm out after watching UVa handle their first round, so I will get to dig into it in about an hour or two. She wouldn't verify it was from NH, though :slight_frown:.

How inconsiderate of those WA brewers to produce enough for their loyal customers. SMH.

Hopefully, unique isn't a euphimism for terrifying (at least more terrifying than trying to spell euphimism. ).

How do we know one of you NJ guys aren't shipping their beer in a casket of some wiseguy who had to get whacked?

Actually, the logistical challenges alone would be highly impressive to overcome, so I'd guess you'd deserve it...

No Carton for you, eh? So what's in your neck of the woods? Kane seems relatively close to Carton, so I guess that's not local to you either. Magnify?

God, Carton's the only NJ brewery I've even heard of, and that's just because of the seemingly awesome beers I've seen on NBS. Care to toss out a couple brewery names I should know of, for science?
