Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPA

 

My wife was really excited to be at Holy Mountain for the first time. We both had their black beer which was really good.

 

I may be a day late, but it doesn't taste a dollar short. It's just as good on a Monday morning while packing a box under direct supervision from Payton. Let's have a great week!

 

Central State Brewing Lazer Raptor, a cranberry and lime gose

 

Hmmm, now this is intriguing. My first glass out of this bottle didn't really do much for me. It seemed more fizzy and tart than anything else. Now that it's been sitting in my fridge with the bottle cap sitting on top to try to avoid too much air hitting it, it tastes and looks much better. Is that off on my part? Or do some beers need to be aerated a little? Now this beer is blowing me away a bit.

Good afternoon friends!
Enjoying a nice saison du Buff with charred roasted cabbage with quick blanched buttered peas. Saison is fresh (I am going to age a couple of these too) and has mild herb notes along with grassy and perfect funk.
