Im in mass, and just recently discover how much i like black ipas. Wookey jack, jukebox hero, hoppy feet, and even the enjoy by 1-1-16 r all great, but i was looking forward to tryin nighttime this year but havent seen it around. As the post is named...what happened to lag nighttime?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. As a matter of fact, it is still sitting on the shelves here in the same spot. You might just have to search through all the layers of dust and cobwebs to find it.

It is no longer a year-round release, but it will come around as a seasonal at some point this year.

In looking at Lagunitas' web site there is no mention of Night time being released this year. They specifically list there year rounds, seasonals, and one hitter series and it is not listed under any of those.

Black ipas have faded out. The only one holding on is wookey jack, which is the best of the class. However, nightime was up there with it. I enjoy that style but it will never be a go to so too much sits.

Strange style with multiple tastes that aren't expected [and IMO aren't all that compatible]. No wonder it has faded.

I LOVE black IPAs, one of my favorite styles. And I have not yet tried the Nighttime unfortunately, despite seeing it at Trader Joe's many times and never picking it up. Speaking of found one called Creature from Urban Legend in Westmont, IL, very good for the style, worth checking out.

I really enjoyed Nighttime. I'd describe it as a hybrid of an IPA and a porter. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it in any bottle shops in my area lately

There are a few I have had that I enjoyed but this is generally how I felt as well.
