Looks like we're expecting rain and generally crap weather - at least in my part of Illinois - which may call for something a bit more robust. Some St. Bernardus 8 or 12, perhaps...

Looks like we will have rain too. I think I'm going to stick to my plan though. It may be rainy outside, but I'm ready for sunshine and warm weather.

So agreed. Cracked open some of Rev's Galaxy Hero - my favorite of the Hero series - last weekend in the hopes of coaxing some summer climes. No luck, it appears, but the Galaxy Hero drank quite fine.

I'm attending a large bottle share Saturday night so I probably won't hit it too hard Sunday. But then again I may have a few barley wines (Uinta or Bigfoot) with dinner.

Got a nice smoky ham for dinner; will double-down on that with some bottles of Schlenkerla Fastenbier and a crowler of Glazen Toren Saison d’Erpe-Mere Gerookt Fumme. Also have a crowler of Ommegang's Table Beer to drink while cooking.

I'm planning to bring some Sofie to brunch - no particular reason other than my father-in-law likes Belgians and it'll go well with the food lineup. Might also crack my crowler of sugar shack - really nice brown ale from Imperial Oak.

My Ma always gets me a growler of Tribute Barefoot Charlie when I come up north to visit so I'm going have to put that bad boy down before any Doubles come out.

Good call on the Sofie - might have to incorporate a bottle of that and Matilda into my afternoon/evening.

If only this little cutie came to my area. Luckily, I have a few cans of Lizard King and NvU left.

You don't need a reason...Weihenstephaner is reason enough!

Personally, I'll be rocking saisons (Tank 7, Commons Urban Farmhouse) and Karmeliet.

Alameda here in Portland does an Imperial Cream ale called "Bad Bunny", it's so sweet, better off nitro. That is not a style that needs to exist.

Coming out of my lenten dry period, I'll have the following in the beer fridge:-

    Narragansett Lager
    San Tan Sex Panther
    Prairie Bomb!

All picked up from a recent Florida trek, and first time beers from those states.
