Vanilla Might Meets Right:

 

A nice but once again windy day to enjoy the latest batch of barrel aged Doomslayer from my friends at Greenbush. Being fresh, the maple sap and barrel are really delivering some rich tannins to go along with the whiskey. Another solid brew from around the lake.

 

Trying a coffee extra this afternoon. It's lovely!

Sampling 2 amazing beverages from my home state. Wow these are tasty! Ralphius has a slightly burnt / bitter finish but other than that, these are solid!

 

My sarcastic side wants to say that your 'bug' is the result of drinking directly from a can...


...must. resist.

 

Now for something that really brings it.

 

Thinking about the impending Lollapalooza. Even though I have no intention of going, hearing that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are rumored to be on the bill takes me back to Alpine Valley WI 1992. Second year, when it actually toured the nation (anybody else remember the Jim Rose Circus?), and RCHP headlined over a bill including Lush, Jesus and Mary Chain, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam-the second act of the day, and I got caught in the ID for beer purchasing line when they started playing. I hardly remember the headline act due to my underage ass drinking 6 to 8 24 ounce beers throughout the day and then thrashing my brains out during the entire Ministry set. I don't know what song was playing, but apparently I was so passed out near the end of the night that I took a steel boot kick to the head and didn't even wake up. I'm hoping it was during Higher Ground. Ah, good days.

Found a sleeman Draught sitting at the back of my fridge I forgot was there. I was gonna do a NBS review with it but oh well I'll review it today, hope its not too skunky as its been there for a few weeks...
I actually like this bottle as sleeman is molded into it with a design but the fact that its a clear bottle crap...

This is whats playing now lol.

 

maybe but the day before I poured all my beers so unless I picked it up from a can days earlier..

either way, what doesn't kill you..
