I'm stoked for Parrots B2. Beer of the day for me when it was on during the release for Lazier Susan.

I think it's just Bob trying to test out what the middle ground is and being very conservative with those bottle limits to spread the love.

i wonder when they will post the info for the public. Is this release just help yourself?

    yup.

There's Company of parrots and another beer bottled and ready to go as well. So perhaps it'll be a situation of staggered releases.

Yes, just Help Yourself. They'll probably publish the public sale info on Wednesday evening or Thursday. Beer Friends have through Thursday to purchase.

Got my bottles. Guess this means I'm not driving down to Bottle Logic tomorrow, as this was my beer budget for the week.

    Not complaining. Eventbrite > Lines.

Yea, confirmed. Nez is the best dude I've encountered behind a bar.

FYI... You apparently have to purchase from every release to ensure you remain on the presale list. I'd bought from three consecutive releases, but I was too busy and forgot about Lazier Susan and BA Hammered Satin. As a result, no presale email. Just a heads up for those who want to ensure you're always on the presale list.

The Eventbrite link right now is only for Beer Friends. The public link will come out when it does.

I slept on the one before Lazier/Hammered (was it another raised eyebrows? can't remember now) and I'm still getting the emails

Tasting comparisons Help Yourself vs Raised Eyebrows? the way it's described by HPB sounds like more tart/funky and less fruit forward?

Definitely less fruit forward. I thought it was less acidic and more balanced. Now, it could be more tart out of the bottle but I personally preferred Help Yourself over Raised Eyebrows.

it's a much bigger beer too body wise. Also higher in alcohol, which makes sense. While Raised Eyebrows is a more precise/focused drink, Help Yourself is very much a big bodied expansive saison

The Guava compliments the base saison so well. Tart is the wrong word to use, it's more funky with a bright guava kick. It's an incredible beer.
