Just got back from the gym. Worked off some of the TOO many beers I had last night. My wife asks why then am I drinking beer? Who knows. Because I like beer? Because I am an idiot

Kicking myself in the a$$. Made some yummy peppery brisket tacos for dinner. Then cracked this beer. I'm guessing the greatness lies in its subtlety. Dope slap! Thank goodness I have one left in the chamber for tomorrow night... Thought I'd at least share a nice pic.

I'm participating in the latest New Beer Sunday 'Beer it Forward', and received such a generous box from @Josholson666 that I think I'm gonna have to bend the rules and drink some of these on our days off. This one's from a crowler, and I figured the sooner the better-

SMASH IPA from Dangerous Man in Minneapolis. It's only been a few sips, but I freakin' love this beer! It's almost like they concocted the perfect IPA for my tastes- sharply fruity up front (passionfruit, meyer lemon, even a strawberry/kiwi thing), floral, and piney on the back end, firm and present malt but a dry finish, and a solid crack of bitterness to finish things off. As I get through about 10 oz. the malt flavor starts to come through with a pleasant lemon cookie quality, but not enough to knock away the hops. Solid A from me, man (4.45)- I could definitely make it a regular thing. Thanks again, Josh!

I love GF Sculpin, and I liked the Ginger Big Eye a lot. I haven't had them all obviously but this one just didn't do it for me - still it wasn't like it was so bad I couldn't finish it. Cool you liked it! I know where you can get at least a few more bottles  Cheers!
