I'd nominate @Dave_Treat. He donates a box to almost every charity LIF that is created. Donates money as well. Has helped me help other BAs in the past. Is a certified handshake ticker. And the second coolest old guy I know. (Sorry Dave, but we both know @Mipper is sensitive!).

Congrats on the new baby. It's a gamechanger in so many awesome ways.

@dmbforever has been really generous lately helping out people who have been stung by bad traders.

@bgold86 sent me a really cool (and hard to find) bottle out of the blue because he thought I'd like it. It was a brewery exclusive that he had to trade for.

@dphalpin sent out some nice bottles to a fellow BA who got stung by a bad trader- expecting nothing in return.

 

im going to nominate @PassMeAZima for a multitude of reasons. we were in the middle of discussing a trade when my previous employer eliminated my position. even though we never agreed on that trade due to me being laid off, he sent me a box full of wants and asked for nothing in return, flat out said dont send anything. he then talked his wife (who must be a saint) into going away for a weekend while about 8-10 drunken idiots also known as swtfyers stayed at his house to have a birthday/annual bootle share for @BuckTuckian's 40th birthday in january. during this same weekend, we visited buffalo trace and was lucky enough to sample bourbon cream (which is fucking delicious might i add). fast forward from january to about 2-3 weeks ago, i received another box from him with a bootle of bourbon cream, two more wants, and a tilquin glass with the reason that @lahtnun, his dog, made him do it. lastly, during the 12 days of christmas, the dude sent a don quijote as one of the bootles for the 12dox, the only one he had ever had, to @Clarkson. top notch ba right there.

 

Going to nominate @PA-Michigander . Not only does he send ridiculous boxes seemingly all over for no reason whatsoever, but I've also been the recipient of his generosity in person a few times when we meet up for a beer. He also doesn't care whatsoever about the "eliteness" about a BA, and truly just enjoys sharing great beer. My first share ever was at his place a couple years back before I really had my feet wet, and I essentially showed up with shelf turds but everyone, Nick included, were still incredibly inviting. Fast forward a bit over a year, I'm at his place again for a share (bringing better beers this time myself), and I randomly mention a friend of mine (and a buddy of his) are at a pizza boy, only a few minutes from Nick's place, and he essentially immediately says "tell them to come here and drink some of our beer" despite them having nothing to bring along themselves. My buddies got to have VR and FO that night on top of other beers for literally nothing other than being a friend of a friend. Nick's generosity knows no bounds and I think he's definitely an "outstanding BA"!!!

Wow @PA-Michigander @Dave_Treat @PassMeAZima. How could you possibly go wrong with any one of those. They all are amazing choices and not a bad one in the bunch.

I will add to @PA-Michigander lure. I once mentioned publicly about my wife loving a certain candy that is only available n Florida, Nick is from Pennsylvania. Several months after I mention that a box shows up on my doorstep from Nick. It is full of that candy. He went to Florida, remembered I mentioned that candy, brought it back home with him and shipped it to me (along with some awesome beer) and has been fighting me sending him anything in return. He should be top notch in everyone's book as should Dave and Jason.

 

While I am very honored to be mentioned, Nick is an excellent choice. Please go that route, I'm not in it for jumping the shark. My vote goes to @PA-Michigander

 

I'm humbled by the nomination, but I'm gonna bow out of consideration. I'm going to confirm the nominations of both @Dave_Treat (Dave) @PA-Michigander (Nick) though.

There are obviously a huge number of deserving BA's, many of whom were named above. But I am going to stick with my intial impulse, jump on the bandwagon and nominate (or second, or third) @PA-Michigander for the simple reason that he is everywhere -- trading generously, donating to causes, and simply chiming in on debates with thoughtful and intelligent insights. And Nick does this stuff for all the right reasons, with no expectations. He epitomizes what being a BA is all about.

 

I'm voting twice cuz that's just how I roll. 2 of the most generous people I have ever met, and associate with are definitely @Dave_Treat and @PA-Michigander ! I'm not gonna give a long description cause im fukin exhausted but there names don't keep coming up for no reason!

Cheers and congrats on the youngin! Hope yours won't be as big of a pain in the ass as mine are!

 

I'll agree with everyone's nomination of @PA-Michigander for all of the reasons already mentioned plus one that hasn't been mentioned yet---that awesome 'stache!

One of the coolest things to see are people giving away *free* beer to complete strangers. Why...just because they can The boxes you are sending out are definitely going to some *exceptional* BA's, who do nothing but send out porch bombs for a living and put everybody ahead of themselves. They truly don't care about winning, but are all about sharing. I know first hand as I no longer have a porch because of their generosity!! In fact, that whole group of #L4L are some of the best traders on the planet.

And most importantly, congrats on the baby!!
