Trinity's BA Chilly Water... is underwhelming.

 

Good evening, all! I found this Unibroue Blanche de Chambly languishing in the singles cooler the other day. First time sampling this one, and it's a dandy. Very citrus and spice forward at the recommended serving temp (40-45°F), nice carbonation, and quite refreshing. 4.12/5.

Glad you're cracking into those suckers now! Definitely was intending on you drinking those hops as fresh as possible, with the heavier stuff for the NBS. Cheers man!!

Never done it? Sometimes a $15 beer alone needs to be enjoyed in 2 stittings. I do it with bomber IPA'S and once again for me it feels better to stretch the big bottle over a few days. They can hold up for 10 days when done correct.

 

Well....the datacenter replication technology we use to keep 2TB of data multi-mastered and quorum-synchronized has a license that expires on March 25th. Management knew about this for 3 weeks...the reissue license given to me today doesn't work. Tomorrow is going to suck for a bunch of developers while it is down and the provider futzes with the license, trying not to suck at their job.

May as well have a beer, nothing I can do at this point. Sucks to be an operator today.

This does taste a little different than the four pack I had in the summer. Less malt, maybe.

 

Then the put ketchup on the hot dogs. F'in animals.

 

Started the day with 2 Flying Dog Namaste drafts, then @ home, 1 Duvel strong ale , then 4 Victory Golden Monkeys now getting ready to pour a Unibroue Don De Dieu. Save the best for last? We'll see. Cheers everyone and good night!

 

LNBA's!!! Tonight I'm finishing off the corned beef brisket and cabbage and potatoes while I drink this here bottle of Palo Santo from 5/28/14. I will always love this beer!
