I opened a BCBS 2015 (which is a bit of a bigger deal here in Europe) with a buddy at the end of a night of heavy tasting and he left half of his glass to me, so it was actually a good strategy in this case. But this is something I often regret the day after (limited impuls control when drunk is a bitch if you have your best beers in grabbing distance ;-) )

Or the fact that start-ups have easier to read bottle/can dates than well-established breweries. Though I should give props to the Billion Dollar Ballast Point for finally have legible dates. Next up, Lagunitas!

Maybe this post is the most definitive or summary of all of them? I don't really need to post mine after this. Well done!

But.... I'll also add over-hyped releases which lead to insane mark ups/ hoarding
-also no one is entitled to any beer and blaming stores for your dumbass standing/waiting in line and not getting a beer is not their fault.

The IPA craze also irritates me currently.
-While I love the selection of IPA's currently available, it's gotten to the point where any new brewery has to brew an ipa or several ipa's just to compete or keep up. Lots of newbie craft beer drinkers driving this need.

The party atmosphere at GABF or other beer fests
-you don't need to invite your bros to chuck strong ale with you at a festival- appreciate the beer not the party

I cannot stand it when barkeeps put unsolicited fruit (i.e., ornage, lemon, lime) on my glass. Fruit has no place in my beer.

Bottle shops with big, beautiful, well-lighted, temperature-controlled walk-ins that are filled with macro AALs. I know it's their bread and butter, but it still pisses me off.

Can't we find a better name for this style? "SHANDY" sounds like what old ladies drink while eating cucumber finger sandwiches and playing croquet with big fancy hats on.

A somewhat local (next State) craft brewer who doesn't list bottled on date or ABV on their beer and didn't answer my email when I asked whether the ABV listed on BA reviews or the one on their web site was correct.

$9.49 is a lot to ask for a six pack when you won't tell me the basics about what's in the bottle. Just the words "Vienna style Lager" don't cut it when Negra Modelo is on the same shelf for a lower price.

    -old IPAs
    -lame beer menu
    -no bottling date
-people who say they only drink "great beers" (aka barrel aged, sours, etc). just because it's your favorite style doesn't mean it's the best style. be open to different things, we're beer drinkers not dictators.
