Looking through old pics today, I stumbled upon this photo of when I won the Orange County Homebrew Competition waaaay back in 2011. I was fortunate enough to share this day with my best friends and brother (shown), as well as my wife and family. It was by far my most euphoric exBEERience, and was wondering, does anybody else out there have such a memorable beer related experience captured? Please share and Cheers, BA's!

I achieved enlightenment when I tried Bodhi for the first time.

I arrived in California (Michigan expatriate) in 1983 and had an Anchor Steam for the first time. It forever changed my life and I'm now celebrating my 24th year in the beer business.

    My most memorable beer moments:

    My first Aventinus.
    My first Rodenbach Grand Cru.
My first Cantillon Gueuze (which was a 4 year old gem).
    My first Speedway Stout.
    My first Pliny.
    My second (!) Schlenkerla.

And nearly every Orval I've ever had.

They only serve wine at the local church, don't get me started on the local mosque.

Sure, I clearly remember mine. December 7, 1970, 10:00 in the morning. A Tiger beer at the Ben Hoa airport just before I boarded a plane to get out of Dodge for good.

I recently had a beer and a burger with a priest. No, really. And I'm not Catholic.

I self-actualized last summer when I had a fresh Heady and Sip of Sunshine back-to-back

A noon-time visit at de Garde, followed by a long hike and then an evening visit at Ft. George for fresh a Vortex was a pretty perfect day this past summer.

3.Stone in Escondido id say was an experience to behold
4.Crooked Stave, then walking across the street to Great Divide. (We tried every beer on tap at both places, i was really drunk, but i guess thats not too different from a religious experience. Right?)
    5. Every time i go to Sierra Nevada

I sat and drank a shit ton of beer at a big picnic/cookout that one of my wife's childhood friends was hosting, all the while chatting with another guest who was a total stranger to me... he had a few but nowhere as many as I did. Only later when another picnicker came over and called him father did I realize that he was a priest and I tried to desperately to remember if I had said anything off-color or offensive. I'm not Catholic (or a follower of any religious faith for that matter) but I still don't want to offend my hosts' priest, ya know? They should really wear those funny collars all of the time to prevent these kinds of things from happening.

This wasn't mine, but I hope to replicate it in due time: my cousin had a beer epiphany when he had his first pint of real cask ale on a trip to England. He's always been a fan of milder ales, so I wonder how such an experience would strike a psychotic hophead like myself, provided I haven't done permanent damage to my tastebuds.

I wish I could find that photo....mine was drinking a pint of Great Leap Brewing Honey Ma Gold as I sat on top of the Great Wall of China outside of Beijing. Heck you can buy some Tsingtao or Harbin on the way up from one of the little ladies selling 啤酒 Pijiu but I just figured I preferred to drink one of my favorite Chinese beers there.

No worries mate, the hop effect on one's head and palate can be reversed.
