    BA Battle Axe wasn't on tap. Super Juicy was more than a great substitute though.

    I'll be in line at Voodoo as well earlier than I'd prefer.

    True, true. I'm sure they're amazing, but I can't even be bothered to drive to the south hills from the north hills... Let alone to Meadville. I'm not Magellan.

    Never said it sucked. Look at the reviews on ba. Most under 4, and all say it's thin with little barrel characteristics.

    I thought the opposite on the barrel. To me it was super barrel heavy. Tons of Wild Turkey.

    Stopped by on Wednesday to try it and grab a bottle of bourbon maple syrup and honey which I had been meaning to pick up for a while now. Figure spending that money mid-week will keep the Saturday tab just a little bit lower.

    Thought Jive was a very nice beer. Plenty of bourbon without being overpowering. Plenty of malt support. Never abrasive from alcohol heat. Body was on the lighter side to me, but not quite thin. Never came across as watered down bourbon which is what I usually associate with barrel aged beers that are too thin in body.

    I never had it during the last release though so not too much to compare.
