Good morning BA, have a great Friday! A start of a 4 day weekend for me.

This is a great Gose! Flavors of big juicy watermelon; with balanced tart lemon, lime, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, pepper, and musty yeast earthiness. Nice balanced tart and spicy finish; with balanced wheat creaminess, salinity, and acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate dryness from acidity in the finish. Lightly puckering, but extremely smooth, crisp, and refreshing. Not as acidic as the base beer, but still has more acidity than the blood orange. Love this just as much as the other ones. Hope it’s a year round can.

Outstanding batch this year. Flavors of big juicy blood oranges; with grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine hops; with some honey/cracker/bready malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/grassy bitterness and light fruit tartness on the finish. Light-medium increasing bitter/tart dryness. Glad I got another six pack as I did last year. Big blood orange flavor; with bright hops and moderate malt character just like most other Lagunitas beers. Feels just a bit more tart on the blood oranges this year IMO. Delicious.

This is an awesome American imperial stout. Flavors of huge earthy dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted dark bread, caramel, toffee, smoke, char, and light molasses/dark fruit; with some moderate pine/light citrusy hop notes. Good sized roast/char and pine bitterness; with a medium-full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel with balanced sticky/chalky roast and hop notes as well. Good dry finish with zero lingering hop or roast astringency. Lightly warming, dangerously easy drinking. Absolutely delicious. Spot on American stout with enormous coffee flavors out front. Still plenty out there on the shelf, all of the Red IPA seems to have disappeared though. Will be definitely be getting more.

Cellar grab, this is still tasting awesome! Taste of big milk chocolate, tart/juicy raspberry, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, dark bread, and light smoke/char. Bittersweet balanced finish; with a great creamy/silky and lightly sticky/chalky medium-full bodied mouthfeel. Super smooth and zero warming ABV. Just as delicious as when I had it fresh. Raspberries seem to be just as balanced with the stout as they were then.

Hey BA, TGIF, the weekend starts with Leffe Rituel; 9%ABV enough for a decent noon buzz.

Cheers BA! Today I have a lovely friend to thank for sending me this beer Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel's Peche Mortel. This was a beautiful way to start my day today. New Beer Sunday is coming.

    Peche Mortel

Pours viscuous with a creamy head of light chocolate foam . Color is black, opaque. Bubbles leave a film and ring. They refresh on each tip to show you a sheet of khaki colored lace.

Nose is bold roast and coffee. Chocolate is born on the nose of the beer and it courts a dark fruit background that has been elevated to an airy perfume. Caramel.

Taste is chewy roast with a bitter edge and sumptuous dark coffee. Bakers chocolate glides over the palate lightly like silk as the lively espresso explodes with flavor. A small warming in the finish as the bitterness swells just a bit to show you the richness of the malt and a moment of sweetness that finishes the espresso coffee so authentically. It lingers with a touch of the alcohol to remind you this was strong. Lingering roastiness and a bittersweet drying of the palate.

I love this beer. Complex, textured and rich. Bold, even a touch aggressive. Peche Mortel is French for Mortal Sin.
