I'm actually curious as to total production on this release of No Rules. Reason I say that is because Perrin is now owned by Fireman Capital Group/Oskar Blues (and apparently Cigar City is owned by them now too) as many know, and they have some substantial brewing capabilities now as a result of being owned by a larger investment company/brewery. I'm almost wondering if some (all?) of this was brewed off site and they've just produced a shitload of it. I doubt it; why wouldn't Oskar Blues produce the heck out of BA Ten Fidy if this were the case for example?

Either way, I won't be waiting in line for this one tomorrow. I may, however, show up just to witness the 'fun' that so many will inevitably have. Part of me hopes that they just produced a massive amount of this - so anybody who wants to try it is able to (probably not the case, however). For those who likely will miss after spending some time in a line, please don't complain about it tomorrow - this thread should more than serve as a fair warning of the chaos that will likely occur at Perrin tomorrow .

I also hope on a more important note that they've gotten the beer blended a bit better this time around; the variance in each bottle I had from the last bombers (all within 2 months of release) was goofy (but excellent). Even though those 3 bottles each tasted like a different (yet excellent) beer, I'd like to see a more consistent blend of flavors - one of my favorite beers hands down.

I think any brewery who does a no limit release (especially of something that has been regularly traded/sought after by many) is just underestimating todays beer scene. Not hopeful there'll be any left if I decide to stroll through on Saturday around 1:30-2, but standing in line at 6am only to be shutout due to some massive hoarding (which is inevitable) sounds terrible.

There is a decent chance that it is gone by the time the exclusive mug club hour is over.

Quick, everyone sign up now! Gotta make sure you can fulfill all those pre-trades! This is seriously getting ridiculous.

It would be funny if Perrin made such an obscene amount of this to the extent that it gluts the trade market.

I'm just hoping to get a couple of bottles in distribution to give to out-of-state friends when I go on vacation in a few weeks

I sincerely hope that this happens!

That pub club sounds like a great idea. I thnk I will head down and get one and go to the release now. Only $50, that's a steal for being able to get all the No Rules I want. And look at the benefits, you'd be stupid not to do this.

1 year is $50, just called and confirmed. even $75 would be a good deal to get there early and grab a bunch of cases for my out of state friends.

Does that 10% off apply to No Rules? If so, then the break-even point is about 30 bottles. Heck, you'd even come out ahead by $1.

I JUST got off the phone with Perrin, the guy told me the pub club membership is $75 for the year and is not pro rated. It is up on January 1st. They will have 2 lines he said, at 10am the pub club gets to purchase their No Rules. At 11am the general line will start.

My money says they make a ton of this.
No, but I'll bet their already inside Perrin's prepping for the night. Once the doors close tonight, out come the coolers and lawn chairs.

Haha, I can't wait to drive by tomorrow during the day to see the circus. Although it hasn't happened yet, when will there be a full-fledged riot like they almost had at Hunahpu Day a few years ago?

I won't be going but I think Perrin may surprise a lot of folks with how much No Rules they have. The 12 oz bottles sold quickly last night but I purchased 22 oz bottles from Perrin's six days after they went on sale. If they already have plans to distribute, I got to believe they would have produce much more than the last time.

So who is muling for you?

I like how you've been a good sport about this. Every time I see a Kia rolling down the road, I tell myself you can cram at least 29 cases of beer in it.
