No information on "Aussie Hop" releases that I know of, and probably for good reason... Aussie Hop Series: We specially source whole flower hops from Australia and are one of a small handful of breweries that go to such great lengths to aquire these gems. Some of the hops in our series are otherwise only available in pellet form from US hop suppliers, but since using pellets in our beer is not what we do, we get them straight from the source in their natural state. Beers in this series include: Victoria’s Secret IPA (Victoria’s Secret hops from Victoria, Australia) Ella IPA (Ella hops from Australia) Galaxy IPA (Galaxy hops from Australia) Galaxy Pale (Galaxy hops from Australia) Topaz IPA (Topaz hops from Australia) Aussie Blonde (With Summer hops from Australia) Aussie Double IPA (using all of the above to make one giant hoppy IPA) Aussie Black IPA (using every Australian hop plus some specialty malt)
Damn, had the Imperial Mosaic last year, got 2 cans from a buddy in NJ, but 3 hour and 45 minute drive each way for a 12 pack is a long ass way to go...it was a very good beer last year.
What are releases like here? Are there lines at open? I've never been and was thinking about coming down to pick some up and have lunch.
Last release (5 Cs) I got there around 11am (opened at noon) and there were maybe 50 people in line. Once inside they're pretty quick with the sales by having the max allotment bagged up already.
I rolled in around 1pm (sales started at noon) and was able to pick up cans yesterday. At that point the line was down to maybe 10 people, and the bar was packed. I'm not sure if they lasted the day, but they did outlast the initial line at least. The rain may have kept some people away.
