Bad trader/shipper @hphp

Interested to hear the other side... what say you, @hphp ??

 

@Joliet814 Do you have your convo/messages saved? Especially the *exact* one where @hphp says that he will replace the leaking bottle.

 

Would like to hear his side of story, but FYI that retaliatory feedback could lead to a ban.

 

@Joliet814 Since you are the one who started this thread and are probably looking for some help from, possibly a moderator on this issue....the least you could do is respond back to my question instead of viewing other pages on this site. Just saying...as my question was a simple yes or no.

FYI, some last snow bottles leak from the cap. It isn't necessarily because of bad packaging. I got a leaking one in the mail last week, and everything was bubble wrapped, with no visible damage, but one last snow bottle was leaking.

 

I understand that any bottle could potentially have an issue with a cap, but I've had a few cases of Last Snow pass through my hands without a single leak. Ever. If there was a problem with the bottling line, FB would've handled it publicly. They're great about owning up to mistakes. Not just waxing the bottles. .
Sorry for the hijack. Continue on with the Bad Trader stuff.

Its just amazing to me that @hphp has as many trades as he does, yet has no clue about the rules here of leaving retaliatory feedback...dont know why, and I really hope im wrong..but I dont see this ending well...Even if he does send, dude needs a temp ban for the retaliatory feedback.

 

Had this happen to me as well a few weeks ago. Everything was packed perfectly, I was shocked it leaked and figured it must something to do with FB bottling issue. Still was pretty well carbed and tasted fine, but I definitely think it's more likely an issue with FB bottling inconsistently and not bad packing.

 

Agreed, Retaliatory feedback was a bannable offense if I remember correctly

 

You may be banned without warning for:

• Buying or selling alcohol.
• Dishonest activity; like having multiple accounts or cheating other traders.
• Posting personal information.
• Abusing the Beer Trading Feedback System. Examples:
  • Giving retaliatory feedback.
  • Basing your okay/negative feedback on the lack of extras; unless extras were part of the agreed upon trade.
  • Leaving fake feedback.

 

Update:

I've personally read the complete conversation. I also have seen & have on my phone a picture of the box with the *leaky Last Snow*, which is undisputable and completely obvious. No matter how you spin this, @Joliet814 received a bottle of Last Snow that leaked, and to be quite frank, was probably due to the "pack job". He also communicated this promptly upon receiving the box and was more than understanding and patient with the situation, while communicating throughout this month long issue.

@hphp said he would replace, distanced himself, and dropped off from communications (thats after some snarky comment of how he has over 200 trades, blah, blah, blah) and then left *retaliatory* feedback.
All of this is quite obvious in the conversation.

Here's the deal... @hphp you've been warned and listed with a *Bad Trader*. You should be banned per site rules, and you still and will if you don't take these next steps.

You've got (1) week from this post to come into this thread and provide a *sincere* and *apologetic* response to your trade partner telling him that *your sorry* and leaving *retaliatory feedback* was uncalled for on your part. Anything short of that and your account is done. There is no other option, so don't come in here "guns a blazin".

Also, besides the *apology* you will change his feedback to what is rightfully deserving...*positive*

If you choose not to come in here within the week time frame to apologize & leave appropriate *positive* feedback to your trade partner....your account is done.

If he doesn't come through, (and the lack of response here after reading this doesn't sound promising) let me know and I'll send @Joliet814 a non leaking Last Snow.

 

Just curious why it's been concluded the leaking was due to poor packing?
