A friend and I split a bomber of Black Ops last wknd, and gulped each of our halves in seconds.

We were wrecked within 2 minutes, its the equivalent of taking a bong hit for the first time. Highly recommended for anyone to try at least once.

Otherwise, the only beer I really gulp is Guinness. I dont really drink beer for thirst quenching/refreshment at all.

Sorry, I don't gulp beer. I know, I know... nice thread contribution, right?

My favorite "gulping beer" would have to be the cheapest for me, which is Genesee. I should point out, however, that I'll save the Cream Ale for a later time as it's got a lot more character than the standard Genesee Beer or Genesee Ice.

I could easily drink a six pack of Zombie Dust in one sitting.

Ideally, Hofbrau Original or Augustiner Hell.
On a day to day basis, Ska's ESB does the trick.
It's too expensive to do so on a normal basis, but I actually find lambics and mixed fermentation beers to be overly chuggable. Unfortunately, my local versions are too pricy/limited and it's not like I'm in Belgium much. Casey beers go down like water in my house, though.

Me too, as well as Flanders Reds. I really have to watch myself with stuff like Rodenbach, or it'll be gone in a flash.

I wholeheartedly agree with Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen. There is something about that beer that is exceptional.

I rarely try to "gulp" beers, but the following styles go down way too fast: Goses, Berliners, and Saisons (Dry, mild versions).

Moosehead Lager (in a can) comes to mind for me. That and Moose Light (The light version of Moosehead) are summer staples for me. They aren't "craft beers" but they do offer a little more flavour than Bud and I get to support New Brunswick business while I put back some cold ones :grinning:

Guinness can go down way too fast. Yuengling is also a very easy drinking beer. Grain Belt Nordeast is another.

Pretty much any well made Hefe or Pilsner. Especially drinkable are SN Nooner and Weihenstephaner Hefe

Even something like a Helles or Hefeweizen will take me 15-20 minutes to go through (and quite often longer). It's quick compared to sipping on some bold barrel aged monstrosity for an hour or more, but I'm not sure it really qualifies as gulping.

Zombie Dust. Hype and all, still one of my favorite pales of all time. Just hits the right notes for me and sooo easy to pound quickly.
