It really doesn't matter. If you send a bottle and it leaks or breaks you as the sender are responsible for replacing said bottle. End of story.

I can see how a bottle that isn't well packed might bang around a bit and the cap gets bent or damaged and it causes a leak, but it really doesn't matter why it leaked - it leaked, you need to replace the bottle. Part and parcel of trading.

Thank you @johnyb but I'm not looking for a Free beer if you want to trade a last snow to me I will do that but I'm not looking for anything free. But I do really appreciate the offer and your kindness. But if you do want to trade I will be more then happy to do so. And again thank you for all the comments and the help
    Cheers

@dmbforever Dave, will @Joliet814 have that bogus negative feedback removed once this is resolved? If it's truly retaliatory then I'd hope a good trader doesn't get stuck with that mark against them.

Based on facts posted on this thread, it should be removed ASAP.

If prior history is any judge, the feedback will be removed and the asshat who retaliated will be banned about 2 minutes after his 1 week window expires...

Edit: @hphp has seen the thread and hasn't been back to the site since Monday... I wouldn't take a bet that he is going to sack up, apologize and make this right.

I noticed that too, though I believe his last seen time was before dmbforever's ultimatum. I wonder if he has created another account yet.

Chumps gonna chump as the kids say... (maybe the kids say that; no clue really).

They seem to have a decent system for making it hard to sign up for a new account. The verification needed to be a trader also helps since he'll need a different phone number now I think? Not sure how all that technical malarkey works, but if nothing else his personal details will get tracked by the mods and they will make it as hard as they can for him to make a new account.

Oh, and I wouldn't have called @dmbforever 's an ultimatum - I would have called it an even handed response and a generous offer of leniency... Retaliatory feedback has usually lead to an instant ban in the past with pretty much no discussion - the clown is too stupid to even realize dmb is being nice and giving him a chance to fix his mistakes...

My kids aren't saying that, but then they are only 3 and 1.

It does sound like they have a descent system for checking that, but I don't believe it is automatic. I could be wrong, but we have seen people run free with a second account before it is discovered. My guess is in a situation like this though, they may be more active in checking. As for the validation, while a great addition, it isn't perfect. To be fair, I don't think anything would be perfect.

I guess my main point was just that this clown last seen time was before dmbforever's response about manning up or swiftly getting banned. Not that it should matter, the creation of this thread alone should have been enough and since he hasn't logged in since Monday or even bothered to respond here. I think it is clear what his intentions are and we know ultimately what the outcome will be.

Agreed - they try their best, but no system is perfect. There is a thread recently on a guy they banned for essentially stealing beer that had been through a couple of accounts doing the same thing each time.

That said, if any bad trader who lives near me screws someone I would like to think my local share groups and beer managers at stores would ostracize them once they found out... Letting locals near the person know what they did is probably the best option to make sure they feel some consequences. They can drink their stolen beer by themselves.

No excuses for @hphp , his actions and the retaliatory feedback are inexcusable and he should be banned, but @Joliet814, have you opened the Last Snow yet? Others are reporting they got leaking bottles also and that the beer was fine, so why not open and enjoy it and make the best of an unfortunate situation?

@GoGators When I seen the bottle was open I didn't finish opening it to drink it. The bottle was was in transit for 5 days. So I didn't know how long it was open.

I can understand not opening until the issue is resolved.
But since @hphp is blowing you off, there is no reason not to open it and see how it is.

@SammyJaxxxx. Just in case @hphp wanted his leaky bottle back I did not open it but now that it's almost over I will be trying the bottle soon. Unfortunately the bottle has been leaking for a month & a half so I'm pretty sure it won't be that wonderful anymore.
