    Other Half Brewery - http://www.otherhalfbrewing.com/, https://instagram.com/otherhalftaproom/

Address: 195 Centre St Brooklyn, NY 11231

Tap Room Hours: Wednesday through Friday: 5 pm to 10 pm, Saturday: 12 pm to 10 pm, Sunday: 12 pm to 6 pm

Closest Subway Station: Smith-9th St (F and G Train)

Directions From Subway: Walk West on W.9th Street to the intersection, Make a Left on Smith St, walk two blocks and make a right on Centre St, Tap Room is halfway down the block across from the McDonalds. (Approx. 2 min walk)

Parking: Street parking is available near the brewery, but it can be difficult to find an open spot. Parking a few blocks away is suggested. Please don't park at McDonalds.

Current Tap List: Checking Untappd is the best way to find out what is currently available. Pours are available in 4oz/8oz/12oz/16oz depending on the beer. Tasting flights are not available.

Growler Fills: Other Half uses a Counter Pressure fill system. This requires that all 32oz and 64oz growlers have a 1.125” standard threaded opening.

Other Half branded growlers require a $5 deposit. Growlers from other breweries are welcome, but must follow those measurement guidelines. Not all beers are available for growler fills, please check the tap room menu board for details.

The instagram post said they were going to Arizona, was that also a joke or who are they visiting there?

If it ends up being true, fingers crossed for Arizona Wilderness. My buddy was out there and said it was excellent.

Assuming it's not also an April Fool's joke on IG, does anyone know what the second collab with JWB is going to be?

Thanks for posting info up and giving your 2 cents Erik.

My name's Rob, I work at Other Half sometimes, but it's been a good while since I've worked a can release. I worked during Street Green release (that was a trip) and from what I've heard they have gotten even crazier! haven't read these threads for a long time, but I was curious, so I just read a bunch of it. Repetitive..but awesome to see people's interest though. I see there are a ton of complaints about the can releases...I know how stressful they can be for both customers and employees. I suppose it's impossible to make everyone happy at the end of the day but it's important to do the best possible.

I'm not speaking on behalf of the brewery AT ALL here, (this is my personal opinions, my 2 cents), but I know that everyone at OH wants to make the releases as smooth as possible, despite all the obstacles that have to be dealt with (space being the major issue). The new space is coming together though, and seeing the progress has me really hyped. It will make such a difference, and if we could use more space we would believe me

Anyways, I don't know if the guys are aware of these threads, but I do know they are always concerned with the customers having the best experience possible and getting as much beer to as many people as they can. I trust they are always trying to be improving. I think Kanger said it before, but Andrew, Matt, Sam, Joe, Peter, really any of those guys are always down to listen and answer questions/take suggestions/talk about beer with you. Everyone at OH are real good peoples and appreciate everyone that comes by and takes in interest in what they're doing

    Cheers

I'll also update beer menus today, I didn't know it wasn't being kept up to date. It's a perfect gloomy day to drink some brew, hope to see y'all!
