Lagunitas High West-ified returning?

    I don't see anything on Lagunitas website to indicate this beer will be released again this year, but I keep getting beermenus updates about kegs tapping (mostly in NYC). Anybody know what the story is? Are these vintage kegs maybe? Or could this awesome beer be returning?

    Nothing official on the website that I have seen either but I have seen it popping up in places other than NYC which makes me think there is at least another batch of it made.

    I had it on tap at the brewery about a month ago. The bartender said that it should be in bottles soon.

    It's on tap at the Chicago location and has been at a few bars in the area as well (which ran out immediately, of course). More is sitting in barrels as I type this, which I can only assume mean more distribuition and hopefully bottling as well.

    All the above is great news. I can't think of a better BA imperial stout for the price.

    I can only pray that this goes to every place they distribute. I had a 2 oz pour at a fest, but that really wasn't enough.

    I've heard six packs soon. I've also heard six packs in December. I've also heard not this year.

    All signs point to this being an annual release.

    Second paragraph states, "The pub, at 39W149 Plank Road in Elgin, will also host a night with Pat Tallungan, Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation's co-founder and president, on Feb. 27 and donate all proceeds from a keg of Lagunitas High Westified Imperial Coffee Stout, a barrel-aged beer released once a year."

    Hope it does become an annual release because this is one amazing coffee stout!

    Anyone with an update here? Feeling the need for an accessible BA stout right about now.

    Quick scan of Chicago beermenus seems to show it popping up on tap at several spots. Precursor to distro, maybe? Wishful thinking? That seems to be my bag, so...

    We haven't seen anything new from them in a hot minute in bottles. Citrusensis is here but keg only thus far.
