It's interesting that they've decided to expand hours rather than number of workers in a given hour (and they already are open a lot of hours).

It's great for accessibility to be able to go at any time, but in my opinion leads to times where nobody is there, and times when the line is long. Of course, long is relative, I've never waited more than 15 minutes since the expansion.

 

As someone who works and lives close by...I am all for this! Thanks, JC.

 

At least in Fort Point, I don't think there is room to have more employees in a given hour (on the retail side).

 

Good point, I was selfishly thinking of my local Canton.

 

You should rejoice. The more people that can go between 12-4, the less you need to deal with.

Anyone know if they rotated in another batch of Big Sprang? Seems like it's been around for quite a long time now.

 

Twitter says it is gone in boston as of a couple hours ago.

 

Has anyone bought a Big Sprang lately and noticed the bottle date? Just making my shopping list and wondering if it's still the run I had in, mmmm, early February? or if they've brewed more.

 

Big Sprang is great and you should buy it and not worry about bottle dates.

 

Yes let's bring craft beer back 10-15 years and not worry about dates. That's the ticket.

I gave no hyperbole. Where were you in the craft boom 10 to 15 years back? Apparently not where I was. Sour beers were an accident, freshness was not a bother, tons of other issues. There was a reason it didn't stick.

The fresh ****s are silly but let's not pretend dates dont matter. That's worse.

No. I guess we agree but are in different eras. Not trying to disriminate against your age. Im not better than anyone.
