Bad trader/shipper @hphp

Please, I insist. Now that the clock is running down on @hphp, please send me a beermail with your contact info and save me the "Dick Tracy" homework of tracking it down myself. As they say, tis better to give than to receive.

 

@Joliet814 kudos for leaving the appropriate negative fb.

He's probably going to be banned, which will render it a moot point, but in case he's ever reinstated consider editing your fb to reflect that he reneged on a promise to replace the beer. Basically he admitted his packing was responsible for the damage, promised to rectify that situation & then bailed. For me at least, that's a much more b&w situation than a leaky bottle that wasn't replaced. Also mention the retaliatory fb which also indicates his lack of character.

 

Time is nearly up. Looks like we've seen the last of @hphp

 

Wow... to lose your entire account and reputation over 1 bottle of Last Snow. Boggles my mind.

 

We all get burned out on our passions from time to time. With any luck it'll get straightened out instead of becoming a regret in hindsight.

 

He's going to lose his account for leaving blatant and obvious *retaliatory feedback* that he knows he left. If I was wrong on the matter, he's had every opportunity, 7 days, to paste the same conversation that I read (along with the negative feedback he left) for everyone else to make a judgement call on the matter, or to prove me wrong. Silence on the matter tells everything!

Also, he should have been banned (7) days ago, so it's not like we didn't give him a fair and generous opportunity to make it right.

Apologize (sincerely) for leaving *retaliatory feedback* and say your sorry to your trade partner (publicly). Pretty simple offer in my book.

Also, it never ceases to amaze me of the generosity of BA's on this site. It looks like the Sunshine state is bringing a little "snow" to Illinois , so you should be covered.

Honestly, it was sincerely my pleasure. Glad the Last Snow made it intact(sans leakage), and I hope you enjoy it. Cheers and Happy National Beer Day to all all my Beer Advocate brethren.(and the ladies here too).

 

It seems these threads bring out the worst in people. And by that, I mean the obvious Bad Traders. At the same time, way more often than not, it also brings out the best of traders.

There are plenty of instances where us moderators get involved in matters through conversations with BA's when they ask for assistance or help.

In this case, I'll share that @Joliet814 decided to send well...a package to both @johnyb and myself. Completely unnecessary, but I can definitely respect, understand, and appreciate the gesture. I'm pretty confident Bryan hit a *want* of John's and he sent me a No Rules that I was looking for in the trade forums. A BIG thank you from the both of us.

Just felt this shouldn't go unnoticed to the community.
