Nice. I saw Ben walking out of Fat Heads last Thursday afternoon, so I suspected something was on its way soon.

Otherwise the updated "regular" beer list will be:
    Breakside IGA
    Breakside Rainbows & Unicorns
    Fat Heads IBUsive

    **Update for tonight's event**

Due to the expected turnout we are limiting the 'to-go' options for Pulp Free tonight to one 32oz fill (growler or crowler) per person. The last thing we want to due is run out of beer before as many interested people as possible get a chance to taste it. Plenty of other beer events going on tonight and would like to leave some for those who may not be able to attend the release.

If we have any left after tomorrow we will open it up for 64oz and multiple crowler fills.

Hope to see some of you this evening. Cheers!

Pretty tasty stuff. More bitterness than your typical NE IPA, but nicely done overall.

Apologies to anyone who missed out on Pulp Free tonight as we went through three 1/2bbls in under two hours. That was even after halting crowlers fills after the first keg blew. Didn't expect it to be quite that busy.

I've seen comments on how this was more bitter than what people are used to with the 'NE Style'....that was the point for Mike and Ben putting this together. Yes, you can have plenty of tropical fruit juicy juice flavors with a pronounced bitterness, of which some form is essential for a true IPA. I honestly thought, especially for the first time they've ever brewed this beer, it was exceptional. Best of both worlds.

Fat Head's is tapping their kegs tomorrow so for anyone who got here too late definitely head over there this weekend to give it a try.

Thanks to all who showed-up tonight...truly appreciate it.

That Pulp Free IPA is the way to have it all:
    • The juicy, citrusy character of my favorite IPAs (like the August 12 canning of Fort George's 2014 version of 3-Way IPA).
    • The silky mouthfeel of NE-style IPAs.
    • The bitterness that an IPA ought to have in order to be called a real IPA
Incredible stuff, man. That was a beer truly worth waiting for.

It was an awesome beer. I certainly prefer the bitterness. I couldn't believe how insanely crowded it got. We arrived around 530, and within 30min the crowd/line was spilling out into the parking lot. Thanks for hosting!

Damn! That's pretty impressive. Glad to hear you guys were so busy, but am very sad to hear there are no leftovers.

Guess I will need to stop by Fathead's today after all...

Got to sample some this past weekend after all, and I agree, it's wonderful stuff. It immediately put me in mind of the incredible anniversary IPA made by Tired Hands a few years back (the St.Oner), in appearance, aroma and taste (really good bitterness in this beer, which I appreciated). The relatively low alcohol was a bonus (could pound this down all day!).

Would love it if this could somehow be made part of the regular line-up (either at breakside or Fathead's).

Went to Fat Head's yesterday since it was nice out and I could sit outside instead of being surrounded by their terrible atmosphere. Had a Pulp Free, Semper Fi and a Hop Juju. Hot damn, they're all so good I don't think I could even pick a favorite.

Man, I so do not understand the appeal of the Semper Fi.

I had a glass of Hop Juju over at Growler Guys recently, and while it's not made in a style I care for, I can absolutely understand why some people think it's the bee's knees.

Personally, I would have no difficulty whatsoever picking out a favorite among those three beers. :-)
