I am actually really impressed. Didn't try the IPA yet but the White Ale and Coffee Stout were awesome!

I have still literally never even seen one, which is surprising to me.

I bought a single of the Coffee Stout the other day and tried it this afternoon. It was better than I expected, but still eh...coffee was a little too mellow for my tastes, maybe because of the creamy feeling and taste the nitro imparted. But what a beautiful pour! I'll probably try the others too.

EDIT: Here's the crappy pic I took, doesn't do it justice.

Haven't seen any of these yet, but would be willing to try any of them but the Nitro IPA. Just don't think nitro and IPA belong together. Takes a lot away from what an IPA should be in my opinion.........

In order of preference, but honestly, I didn't care of any of them and would not seek them out again (hated the IPA)

    Coffee Stout
    White Ale
    IPA

    IPA was terrible beyond belief.
    White was blech.
Passed on the coffee after those two bombs.

Last night my brother gave me the bottom of his White Ale can. Tasted like budweiser malt with perfumey flowers. My bro wasn't a fan of the little to no carbonation light watery creamy mouthfeel. I'd like to give the coffee stout a try but not expecting too much.

I saw the commercial (ha), but havent seen the beers around yet. Looking to try any I see.

Its somewhat disappointing that Sammy A is seemingly brewing these only in response to craft beer trends and not of their own accord. But I'm always happy to have a decent widely distributed beer on tap whenever I'm meeting friends in a sports bar.

Plus, the name Sam Adams lends some validity for those who are turned off by craft. Its changed the mind of a few friends of mine, who are now know what hops tastes like (thanks, Rebel) and are happy to explore.

I think a Nitro IPA sounds horrible, but I've never actually tried it.

Has anyone had a good Nitro IPA that didn't feel watered down?

I like Sam Adams (how couldn't I, being from Mass), but I don't think I will be trying these.

I'm not the biggest nitro fan in the world. I've had very few nitro beers that I enjoyed.

There is a general consensus here that the IPA is not good...whatever happened to research and development?
I mean, nitro and IPA doesn't even sound right.

I'm sure they did research. For 1, they probably wanted an IPA that rounded out some of the harsher notes of the IPA, hence nitro. 2 They probably wanted to capture the portion of the beer market that is in between macro and craft. Not yet really into craft beer. Take yourself back to that time, stronger IPAs, at least for me, were too bitter. So I think they're goal to was to make an approachable IPA, since IPAs are in right now.

Gotta remember that this site's consensus is skewed. We are a bunch of dudes (and gals) that take beer pretty seriously and have probably had at some point a hop bomb or 2, so yea this beer is underwhelming. But is that reflective of the entire population?

I loved the white but didn't care a lot for the coffee. Not a fan of IPAs so I won't try that one.

I've had all 3, and the IPA was by far my favorite. Both times I tried coffee it was disappointing. Didn't get much of the "nitro effect" in either one, so the creamy-ness was lacking compared to their other nitro offerings. All that was there was a very thin watery coffee beer with a harsh metallic aftertaste. But that nitro ipa was very well done.
