I'm flying down to Ft. Worth next week. Are there any 'must try' beers I should look for down there?

Not really. Just look for anything that says REAL ALE on it.

Maybe not all "must tries", but if you can"t find most of those beers, these are some solid beers to try

    • St Arnold Art Car IPA
    • Oasis Metamodern
    • Hops and Grains Greenhouse
    • Any Jester King (the wild ales and limited releases will be difficult to get, unless you are at the brewery)
    • Deep Ellum IPA
    • Deep Ellum Dreamcrusher
    • Karback Three Legged Lamb
    • Oddwood Saison
    • Real Ale 4 Squared

If you are in Ft Worth, Collective Brewing Project is a place you must hit up. I also generally like Martin House.

I do know I will be heading to my cousin's "Intrinsic Brewery" in Garland, on the east side of Dallas. My sister says they have great stuff

We get it, you're a brash fan boy, great. He won't be getting brewery only Brash in DFW.
Kegs of some things maybe, but not brewery only stuff.

Does Brash even make brewery only beers? I think I've seen everything they make around Houston

Brash fan boy? The title said "Must-try beers in Texas". So I listed must-try beers in Texas. Big deal, and sorry you got butt hurt.

Sorry I meant brewery only beers, as in I haven't seen any cans of EZ7 at my local bottle shop. But I've seen just about all of Brash offerings at my local bars as well.

while real ale was mentioned, I'd like to be more specific and add three lions. great iipa. Hans pils is one of the better pilsners available here. definitely brash offerings if you come upon them, and the karbach mentions are all good. while they can be rough around the edges and a bit polarizing, I think buffalo bayou has some worth at least trying- more cowbell, meer koebel, the rye'd beers, and all their other various dessert type beers. they can be hit or miss, but always unique and i enjoy trying them. lone pint, specifically yellow rose, especially on draft. st arnolds divine reserve is still available some places if you like smoked beers. all that being said, I might consider live oak hefe to be the most "must try" of them all, just because it's absolutely world class, and is my personal favorite hefe from anywhere, beating out many great german options to me.

eta: if youre able to try live oak primus, I'd definitely do that. another exceptional offering from them

I would check out the Woodshed Smokehouse in Fort Worth for some dang good BBQ and a pretty good tap list.
