I see a few left around here, no discounts though :slight_frown: More surprising is that one store still has a stack of Mad Elf. Most years, that doesn't even last til Christmas! I think some breweries just brewed more of their seasonals this year...

Been through a 1/4 bbl keg, and probably 5 cases worth. Now sitting at $8/four packs, there is no end in sight for me.

    I love it.

Although I would say. I saw it seemingly sellout and then a massive restock just a week later. So I'm not sure if the distributor is the one who is moving stuff around. Some places seem to get continual restocks, where as other places have moved on.

It's still around in Ohio. That being said, I think that some people make the horrendous mistake of somehow thinking how long a beer lasts on a shelf indicates a beer's greatness (or lack thereof).

There is tons of this at my favorite bottle shop. I bought one as soon as it was released and that was enough for me. It didnt seem like the same beer. Maybe my taste was off that day but I have yet to buy another.

Just because a beer isn't hidden behind a counter with a 1 pp limit doesn't make it a shelf turd.

Not sure I'd use the term shelf turd. I know there are shops around here that sell out and don't get anymore in, likewise I could visit several shops and pick up a 4 pack at each easy. Unfortunately, no discounts on any. I do know of one store with Imperial Stout still on the shelves. If they even dropped a $1 off that price, I might buy 3 or more 4 packs.... Maybe I should call them tomorrow....

I love having Founder's Breakfast Stout at the ready on shelves. It's difficult to get a good coffee stout in the warmer months, so I'm thankful there is usually some FBS around.

'Round Northern Virginia, they do the same thing, only the "cellared" beer costs more.

I find that FBS falls off quickly. Yes, it's still a good beer, but aged FBS can't hold a candle to fresh FBS.

We still have plenty of the baby bottles in these parts. I made the mistake of buying a case last year and I still have a lot left. That said, it is still excellent but it's hard to reconcile trying new beers and having a lot of old favorites in the fridge.

Easy to find around me. Just drank one out of 4 pack I bought last month. Not my favorite aged beer but still good

when it hit shelves in FL in Nov or Dec it was $12.99 a 4 pack and now it's $9.99. I might pick one up soon just because - it is a great beer and $10 is a good price...just haven't been craving one with temps in 80s here lately

KBS is almost a shelf turd in San Diego, probably because bottle shops charge $7 a bottle, yes you read that correctly. Good beer, not great, and won't land that whale you've been hunting for the past 3 years.

I'm ok with Binny's discounting it (I'm assuming thats where you referring to - although Ive seen it on sale at a couple places) - Lord knows they never discount anything I'd actually buy.

Founders seem to add $2 to the 4 packs every year (backwoods jumped about $4-$5 per 4 pack in 2015) so it does sit around long island more.i dont mind this as it definitely improves with age but the price increases definitely put people off.
