I got home late tonight, but that's ok- I had this bit of wonderful waiting for me-
    [IMG]

At first it seemed like an experiment- to see just how far the post office would go if you wrote FRAGILE on a box . Not far enough, apparently!

Because inside and undamaged was this amazing sixer of New Mexican goodness!:

I can't wait to dig in! Thanks so much, @ONovoMexicano , I've really wanted to try all of these. It's gonna be a great weekend!

Welllll, I got home from a great day out, which included going to Rushing Duck Brewing, and then out to supper at our local Chinese Buffet. I know Nicki and Dan at Rushing Duck are big mushroom fans and I always give them some of what I find, but man was Nicki surprised today when I gave her a big bag of Shiitake this time of year, grown by our local mushroom farm, who gave me a twenty pound flat of the delicious guys at work after I helped them with their cardboard load. So wouldn't youknow Nicki comes and puts a 4pak of War Elephant on the table and thanks me. Thanks, Nicki! Then I go to eat and I have my Steal Your Rangers hoodie on and wouldn't you know there is another dead head there with a Dancing Bear Hoodie on, and he says hello and we exchange a few words. He stops by on his way out and says goodbye, then the waitress comes over a minute later and tells me he paid for my meal! So I laughed, and handed her the whole amount I was gonna pay for food and tip, and gave it as her tip. Now we both were happy. Thennn...

I get home and sitting on the bottom step of my porch steps is a box from @kemoarps Keep in mind he already has sent me an absolute killer box of incredible quality, but this day just gets better and better, so I haul this box inside, and, well, you are gonna hafta see this to appreciate it.

I have tried figuring out what is in the two growlers but I can't. One of them isn't marked that I can find, the other is marked with four letters I cannot put to any of the beers listed on the Cloudburst page. I sure hope I don't find out that I missed it somehow (and the embarrassment that goes with that haha).

Just want to say thank you so very very much, K., I will be amazed if you don't win the vote for this horn of beer plenty that I have in my house now. Such great great beers, I feel like I don't have words to match my gratitude to your generosity, thank you so much.

Also would like to point out the extemely interesting and inventive noise makers added to the boxes. They were designed to give a particular noise that would not sound like anything broken in the boxes, but would give enough of a noise to hide sloshing. Ingenious. And anyone who has ever seen my back bumper knows where those two stickers will be tomorrow haha

so for those keeping score here is the plethora of beer excellence, part 2
Stoup Brewery 32 oz growler (unknown)
Cloludburst Brewing 32 oz. growler (unknown)
Wander Brewing Global Mutt 750 bottle
    Fremont Session Pale Ale can
    Fremont The Sister IIPA can
    Fremont Interurban IPA can

I'll be sending another to @newjack, but it won't get there until after the big reveal day. In fact it almost certainly won't ship before then.

There are boxes going every which way and to more than one recipient. We are out-BIF-ing ourselves.

Home after a long day, and found a second box from @TongoRad. I've been completely enjoying the first box, and had a plan for the last 2 bottles for this Sunday, but now I might have to rethink that plan...

Tons of excellent stuff in here including a few breweries I didn't know existed, and a Statue Of Liberty bottle opener.

I can't wait to start sampling!

Awesome. What's in the growler? Rushing Duck something?

Like I mentioned before, each of those beers are ones I started wishing I put in the other box, so 2 shipments seemed to be the way to go. That growler is Captain Lawrence Palate Shifter, btw. I knew I forgot to do something...

And that bottle opener sorta kinda works, too!

    Enjoy!

I love Palette Shifter. I should have included it in my box.
And I picked up a bottle of the strawberry sour today.
Captain Lawerence is a great brewery

Sweet box. Funny thing is I have tried and love all of them, except the one brewed in my nearest actual town, New Paltz, as it isn't available in New Paltz and I haven't tried any of their beers yet.

So, us Washingtonians all coluded, and sent our targets Global Mutt. Being as how I'm a big fan of the brewery, maybe you, @newjack , and @bigjsempire could all drink yours on Sunday? It'd be fun to see all opinions sorta simultaneous. And, I'll swing by the brewery and let them know what y'all think.
