NE is making tons of great IPAs right now and I even listing them would take an hour or so. But I'm not really aware of New England's stouts / imperial stouts(I know TH brews great black beers though!). What's you guys's favorite stouts / imperial stouts? I just want to learn about them and it would be really appreciated! Cheers!

Sexy Chaos from Marshal Wharf and Mot the Lesser from Tributary are at the top of my list.

    Stoneface's RIS is pretty good

Kelsen's Vinatta and Vendel. Both are very tasty.

Any stout from Barreled Souls will probably be pretty good.

Banded Horn's Jolly Woodsman is a very nice coffee stout.

Clown Shoes is one of my favorite breweries and most of their stouts are excellent. I'm partial to Breakfast Exorcism.

Cambridge Brewing Company's You Enjoy My Stout is one of the most grossly unrecognized beers I've ever had. Absolutely phenomenal, easy to find, and about $10 a bottle.

Also go for Jack's Abby Framinghammer. It's a Baltic Porter but it may as well be a stout. And they are releasing all of the barrel aged variants now as well so there are LOTS to try.

And if you can ever get a bottle of Proclamation's Zzzlumber, then DO IT! That is truly an amazing beer.

One that I don't think has been mentioned is Forge from Foundation. Tasty RIS.

    Not stouts, but:
Hodad porter from Fiddlehead is great, not easy to find though.

Everett. One of the best porters anywhere.

Most underrated beer in the state.

I link Trillium Pot & Kettle and I'm told Secret Stairs is a superb dry stout. Will find out soon.
The JA Framinghammer and BA Framinghammer variants are all good.
Wormtown Norm is really good (better than Death by Coconut in a similar style).

Sexy Chaos is incredibly under-rated. I toss it in as an extra with my trades whenever I can and everyone so far has loved it.

You Enjoy My Stout is phenomenal and as @DPRickli said, criminally underrated.

Also partial to Mean Old Tom, TH That's What She Said, and Stoneface RIS. Still need to try the Exorcism series.

Thimble Island MAD stout is the best New England stout I have had in a while. I was also really impressed with Down the Road's Darkest Night.
