Triple Threat - NBS BIF #3

Well we have an update on our "contagious fire" incident. Good news for Minnesota, you are safe. Trajectories have been analyzed and Minnesota has been ruled out with 99.7% accuracy. The impacts are now confirmed to be somewhere east of Illinois. One is within a hundred miles of Lake Michigan. The second is traveling further and impact is estimated to be south of Lake Eerie.
Here are the results from the targeting analysis, both numbers are incomplete:

We hope that by putting this information out there some of you may be able to avoid a tragedy. (like someone taking your beer).

 

I hope it's not coming to a state that borders Mexico AND the Pacific Ocean. You've been way too generous to me already!!!

 

The "NBS BIF" BIF

Thank god, were that one more package to me, I don't think I would've been able to get them home.

So I checked my shipping list cheat sheet and it looks like the Stoup howler is their Hop Burst Galaxy (galaxy hops duh), and the Cloudburst is thankfully significantly better than it's namesake: Hotline Bling.
My point of concern though relates to the bottom left of that top picture: did one of them leak? That bottom picture looks like the Hotline Bling is a little low in the bottle

What were the noisemakers in that second box? I don't remember.

@beertunes: it probably is the first mention. I didn't include any of the brews because I wasn't terribly blown away the one time I went in (at least the owner was super friendly!), though I've heard good things about their Astronomy On Tap events. But stickers! With no swag in those first two boxes I had to have something tide him over, and piss cups and blood tubes make poor substitutes...

How many beers are people planning to review this Sunday?

I've got two bombers in mind that I've been salivating over -- both pretty high ABV. That might normally get me through a Sunday, but then I've got I-don't-know-how-many gallons left to choose from.

If I eat enough foie gras on Saturday, will my liver be protected?

Considering I live in a foie gras paradise I won't discourage you, but not sure it works that way.

 

I woke up to a large tremor and a text message from fedex. I looked outside, and downtown is decimated. Skyscrapers are gone, ashes everywhere. The only thing left for me to do is to find the source...

 

Not to worry, there was some leakage, but when I popped that baby this AM it gave a reassuring psshhhhh, and I am drinking it now. I love that the penny in this particular container makes a muffled sound that is just loud enough to help things out.

One of the biggest challenges of this BIF is deciding to whom I'll reach out in a few months about a trade. You guys all send awesome boxes.

CNN is reporting an explosion in Ohio. We believe this accounts for the first stray salvo. The second one is estimated to impact somewhere near the shore of Lake Michigan. We will break in to our current broadcast as more information arises.

 

So I roll into work today and this bis ass, heavy box is sitting inside the door. I was surprised to see my name on it as I had not ordered anything. Saw it was from CA and figured Jake must have sent something, but more to my surprise the label had my first NBS BIF target on it, @2beerdogs
