Love seeing mosaic promise available for so long, what an amazing beer.

Can't think of another Brewer whose '16 releases I'm more looking forward to

So Dark Penance and Black Rye are gone. Cool with me, but Double Trouble hmm

Not only are Founders canning Rubaeus, they've just announced the Ruby Cube due in April:

Has anyone seen FIS anywhere in VA? I look forward to it every year and I swear it was never around here.

Not here - depending on where you are in VA it might have to do with Hop and Wine selling the rights to Founders to different distributors. Where I am we never saw Project Pam, and haven't seen things like Rubaeus or FIS. I don't know how Azacca showed up but the whole thing confuses me so I don't think about it too much. I'm just glad it happened after Backwoods Bastard and am hoping KBS isn't any worse of a *$&show than it already is.

Hoping to get my hands on Curmudgeon Old Ale. One of my favorite Founders brews. This Old Ale is the one of it's kind

I was just re-evaluating the release calendar since this thread was bumped the other day and just now noticed that Dark Penance is gone (yes I know, this was announced months ago). I thought it was such an exceptional beer - now I just wish I had bought more of it while I had the chance. Hopefully it pops up as one of the few TBA slots.

I used to love Double Trouble, but with so many great ipas on their new schedule (Mosaic, Redankulous etc.), I think we'll have plenty of other great options to chose from. And I agree with @mmmbeerNY, some years I would never see it on shelves while others I'd see it collecting dust for months.

Cubaeus would have been a better name.

There's an approved TTB label for 12oz bottles of Sumatra Mountain Brown, My guess is you'll see that as one of the TBA beers on the release calendar.

Yea it never hit the tidewater SE VA area, there was a thread about weird disto in the se forum, it is really odd. I had to pick some up when I was in Richmond as it went there and nova, but we did not get it.
Guess I'd better lower expectations for KBS.

Finally seeing large shipments of Mosaic Promise. Wow, what a beer. Has to be the tastiest, most well distributed low abv ipa around. Like small green everything in a 6 pack. I much prefer this to centennial/all day/azacca. I am just going to have to remember to stock up when it goes out of season. Founders should definitely consider keeping this as a year round offering - though I am not complaining about the 6 months of production planned for this year.

I agree, I love this beer and it demolishes all day/azacca/centennial. Really glad it's around for a long window this year, as I've already killed my first 6pk a few days ago.
