Sit in the bar, I hear talk about a ticketing system so you don't have to, against you're own stupid judgment, stand in the rain for cans of beer they're pouring inside.

 

that'd be nice. My max tolerance for a line is 15 minutes.

there's no line as of now! we'll be using a ticket system that will allow you to purchase and then pick up at your leisure throughout the night.

From a business perspective it makes total sense. GIve people tickets, they drink in the bar and wait till 4pm. Instead of having them wait in line and make $0 from their time spent.

 

Company of Parrots bottles still available today?

Started selling. 12 cans a person. About 30-40 people in line. Ez street. Moving fast. Multiple iPads charging

Got in line at 3:45. Left with cans at 3:52. Nice and quick. Three people taking payments. Another group handing them out

 

About half of the cans are left

I'm a beer friend and missed this release
I was working long hours all week and did not get to check wish they would have sent me a beer friend message!
Will have to wait to next time
HPB is my favorite brewery out there just love the beer and they treat you right
I will always support them

 

There was a flurry of activity around 3:45pm, me and ms stephanie waited until everyone went out and eventually came back inside, we walked out, paid, grabbed 4 packs, and came back inside, no wait. I have a feeling it won't be that easy in the future but selling tickets before grabbing beer is definitely going to be a big help. All breweries should do that for in person releases. And I was doubly stoked that they still had Company of Parrots bottles available.

 

Who sent their wife/girlfriend/sister in around 2 to ask how she could buy a case of cans?

 

10 cases remaining as of 7:40pm

 

Instagram post said cans available till 8pm, does this mean some will be available at opening tmrw? (I'd be happy just to pick up 1 4-pack)

 

Basically around 4-5 cases were left and they decided to pass them into the bar area. Not moving super fast, and would not be surprised to see it still there tomorrow for opening, but it was a wise choice to just see if they'll sell tonight instead of having a shit show tomorrow at opening.
