Triple Threat - NBS BIF #3

I've been meaning to launch back at you since you crushed me in the NBS BIF#1. So I thought, I'm a tad late so I'll go a little bigger.Plus, it caused a little fun chaos in this glorious BIF. I saw you had Pugachev's on your WANTS list, and I knew that although not a whale by any means, it comes and goes quickly. (And I secured a 2nd recently). Also, saw you'd enjoyed Chronolgy 6 so I thought I'd help you continue the series. As for the Sour in the Rye w/peaches, it's one of my favs. And the Oude Tart w/ boysenberries is new and AWESOME!!!

Oh, I forgot there's maple in that that beer.

 

Anything with maple in it goes on my want list. I would try maple motor oil.

 

Amen. Maple Triple from Lawson's is phenomenal. Too sweet for many, but for me, Nirvana.
Hell, I put maple syrup in my coffee, I'm not a big fan of white sugar.

 

Going to there 8th anniversary event tomorrow. I'll get some of that on tap, but only Rum BA bottles to bring home.

 

I found this beer did a good job showing it;s components and thought the oak worked fairly well. It's a bit quirky with the adjuncts like many DFH beers, but I thought it fairly well made. Glad it didn't disappoint - and now you got me thinking about aging some .

 

WOW!!! If I ever get to Vermont. I'm so hitting up Mr Lawson.

 

The yearly event is a good time. Get to buy a ton of beer, and lots of great stuff on tap around the state!

 

That sounds awesome. Unfortunately, as a teacher, my vacation time is kinda fixed on the calendar. I get more time off then a lot of folks, but...I guess I want being hanging out with you and Sean any time soon.

Okay you need to put this on your wants from Burlington Beer Co.

Amber Ridge a robust maple brown ale aged in bourbon barrels. First maple beer other than Lawson's Maple Triple that actually tastes like real maple syrup to me. But you have to be careful it's 12% ABV and really smooth
