Good morning BA, have a great Saturday! It is snowing like crazy out there right now :grimacing:. After buying a new car last weekend, I will be looking for a new place to live this weekend. Hoping to move out of my apartment this year and get a condo or something. Would like to have a basement and a garage, I live on the third floor right now and stovetop homebrewing just isn't very optimal. Beers this morning:

Great classic tasting Gose. Flavors of lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, pear, green apple, orange peel, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light fruit tartness, citrus peel bitterness, and earthy spice on the finish; very smooth and crisp; with light wheat creaminess and balanced acidity/salinity in the mouthfeel. Light-medium dryness. Medium carb/light-medium bodied. A really spot on example of the style. Not as acidic as most of the other American made Gose; but still had a solid amount, similar to the German one's I've had. Extremely refreshing. Just finished off the last I had, will get it again eventually; probably after I drink the Briney Melon gose.

Awesome pale ale as always. Flavors of big pineapple, peach, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, and pine hop; with some light caramel/toasted bread malt and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Medium sized pine/herbal/spicy bitterness; crisp and moderately dry finish; with a sticky and lightly creamy mouthfeel. Very bright and complex on the hop character, solid sized malt backbone, not overly dry. This is probably my new favorite pale ale, just finally got a full 6 pack for the fridge last weekend.

Over a year old now, and tasting insanely awesome. Huge flavors of caramel, honey, brown sugar, toffee, butterscotch, vanilla, golden raisin, apricot, apple, bourbon, and toasted oak. Moderate balancing bourbon/oak spice and herbal bitterness against the sweetness; with a great balance of fruitiness, malt, and bourbon barrel complexity. Smooth and creamy/silky with light slickness and stickiness in the mouthfeel. Very smooth with minimal ABV warmth. Glad I have a few more left, this is really fantastic right now. Aging wonderfully.

Amazing as usual. Big flavors of cinnamon, mint, nutmeg, ginger, clove, vanilla, coffee, and cream; with balanced milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toast, and dark bread malt sweetness; with some herbal/spice earthiness. Light-moderate herbal spice/roast bitterness; with a bittersweet balanced finish with a fantastic creamy/silky medium-full body with some slight sticky/chalky notes from the spice and roast malts. Very smooth sipping with a small lingering warmth of alcohol. I wouldn't put it over regular Bomb!, but it's close. Still got a couple left, glad I grabbed a lot more. I will definitely be buying a lot of this years batch, regardless if they adjust the recipe like they did for this one. I have been amazed by all the Prairie stouts I have had thus far. Looking forward to Pirate Bomb very soon, I bought 3.

    Cheers

The new Slice the cake album is amazing

Ahhh (relaxing "ahhh," not one of anger before blind rage/rampage mode)...Saturday morning. This growler from a trade partner in ABQ, sent him a Super Juicy JuJu a short while ago and and this is his reciprocity. Yummy stuff; pairs well with coffee.

Good Saturday morning, BA's. The weather is more like February than April here in New Jersey today and we'll be outside in the cold all day watching our son row in a college regatta. I need to fortify myself. Cheers!

    Good morning BA's!
They say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. . .
Besides, I NEED this to deal with a very, very rare trip to Walmart this morning.
